Hey guys, I decided to move from Malibu MXZ22 2017 to a 2018 G23, what some options you would have to have or avoid. Here is my Build sheet

Do you use your boat at night that often? If not I would skip the lighting package and get heated seats, battery maintenance, and transom remote. I live in TX and I still use my heated seats often in the fall/winter. I rarely use my courtesy lights at night because they attract millions of bugs.

If I was purchasing this boat here are few options I would add to the build sheet: Design package( my dealers purchase this package for every Nautique he orders) expensive but the window vents are a nice feature, Phender Pro for sure, heated drivers seat, upgraded steering wheel, I would scrap the galaxy graphics which would give the exterior a clearer look. Also noticed you had no tower speakers or prep kit so I assume you will purchase aftermarket tower speakers?

I didnt do the design pack as I didint think it was work the extra cash for some color and vents. Yes aftermarket stereo is going in for sure.

I will give the opinion that I think the design package is a huge waste of money as well.
I did not think that I would use the heated seats, but they are actually really great for cooler times, very glad I got them.
As said above, I am confident the brown interior is going to look dated in a couple years...Future post in the year 2020: 'remember when everyone was ordering brown interiors, Ughh'.
I also have reservations about how the bronze metal flake is going to clash with your brown interior. Is there a boat already out there with this color scheme that you could sort of visualize? I envision brown of one shade on the vinyl, brown of another shade on the seaDek, and another brown on the fiberglass. You aren't a gastroenterologist by chance?

I love my Phender Pro's and highly recommend them. I'd also go with the upgraded steering wheel. If your going to put a nice stereo in, I'd get the battery maintenance as well. It It was recommended to me as we sit and listen to the radio while swimming. Sometimes we don't have the boat running long enough to charge the batteries all the way back up. When we get back I plug them in and shes good to go for the next day. Of course everyone's situation varies. A lot of people don't have power down at the docks or pull their boats out every night like we do.
I didn't go with the Design package. No regrets here. The dealer talked me out of it saying the vents didn't really work anyway. However, I wouldn't know and I would defer to those guys that have them. From the comments above it may be worth considering. The dealer offered to have the tower two-toned for me for 1/3 the price if I wanted the Design color scheme.
We have the transom remote. I'm not sure that we've used it yet.. lol I think I like it but the situation hasn't presented itself just yet (just 1 season).
I think the Mojave interior is overdone on a lot of boats. I even had a VP at Nautique tell me they thought they get too hot but they offer it because customers asked for it. If it's your thing then go for it. You'll be happy with whatever you get!
