What is this 2000 SAN worth?

    Hello all!
Let me start by saying I’ve been looking at boats for the past year or so. I understand that this boat is overpriced on the ad based on its condition. I want to make it clear that I’m in no way paying $19k for this boat. I’m going to see it in person tomorrow. The interior is obviously original and in bad shape. The teak platform also needs refinishing. I’m told the front bow vinyl is in good condition. I’m going to look at this boat because, in my experience, it’s rare to see any V Drive boats listed under $20k in my area. Much less one with perfect pass, ballast, and a tower. Add on the fact it’s a SAN. I’m not afraid of putting in work and money to get a boat such as this one up to par. That being said, I don’t want to overpay for a boat requiring too much money to make it worth it. Thanks in advance for any opinions.

if the 907 is what the gauge shows double it as a guestimate what it actually has, gauges have been changed so hours are likely unknown. Interior will cost 5k for perfect maybe 3k for redone. Boat looks beat and abused, worth half ask at best IMO pending a compression test on the motor

I bought my '95 4 1/2 years ago from N3. One owner, under 300 hours, buffed, new decals, ready to go. Brand new tandem trailer included. Boat pretty much the same as it left the factory back in the day, obviously no tower,no ballast. Paid the same as what your looking at. Now days the interior is starting to show it's age so I have ordered new from C&S. 2 arm rests of the drivers seat, rear sun pad, arena seat back rest and arena seating surfaces are 2K

Are you saying you paid around 19k? Just clarifying what you meant

Assuming you are going to replace the interior my questions are about all of the things that are not shown. What is the condition of the hull, tower, engine, etc? If they are in good condition then it might be worth a redo at the right price. My thoughts are that you are going to be disappointed because I think everything is going to be in similar condition to the seat...but I could be wrong. I hope it's a diamond in the rough and you can make a deal.

I fit helps with your decision.....I have just re-done a 2003 SANTE.......or am finishing it rt now. So far.......skins were $3800.......carpet was $550..........other minor cosmetic items have pushed me into another $500. So far I have about $5000 into it......and I am not done with the hull oxidization, decals, etc. I did pass on sea dek, but went with Aqua Marine deck for half the price and the same product........$300 to do the hull rails. I bought my boat last fall for $15,000......and I do not think I am going to put more into it.....its about at its max sale value I believe. Not sure if that helps but its some thoughts.

15k if you like to fix things. 10k if you are trying to save money.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Just got back from looking at the boat. It was pretty rough on the inside. The hull was actually not bad, and it started right up. The inside was just too bad. Almost every piece of trim would need to be replaced along with all the vinyl. It’s hard to describe, just seemed to have been neglected. It’s also an off white color with a gold accent in the decal and seats. I thought it was white and black. I would say it’s worth maybe $10-12k. I didn’t make an offer on this one. The search continues!
