OEM mirror vs PTM Edge 140

I'm wondering if should use the PTM 140 mirror I bought last year on the 2016 I just bought or if the OEM mirror is better/equivalent.

Opinions? Experience with both?

I just purchased a 140. Best mirror i have ever owned but i hear its sensitive to scratches. If you own it i would use it.

I have a PTM mirror and really like it, however there is a special buy on Amazon right now....$30 for a CIPA 180 degree mirror (no mount), but it fits my current mount. For $30, I could not resist buying it. Only a couple left. The price for some reason fluctuates between $70-$30, right now its at the low end.

Ha, I just looked and its down to $28.20 right now. Lot of people have gotten this and given good reviews.

Seems like a good price...Sure wish I knew how it compares to oem mirror on g21, and if I could use current windshield mount. The current mount is ptm brand.

Good question, I need to check if my PTM 140 will fit the 2016 230 factory mount.

I have a PTM mount cause I bought the PTM combo originally (cant remember if 100 or 140 degree that I got)...but this CIPA fits on that mount. Seems to me that it should work as long as its similar looking mount. I just figured having a backup with a bigger degree may come in handy. If it ends up not being great I don't loose that much but I found out about it on MC forum and quite a few people bought and said its a quality mirror with great field of vision.
