My friend in Fla. tells me there will be a 236, which will be a streached version of the SV-211 and that the 210 is getting a major interior redesign. It will be more 220ish inside, but they are not messing with the hull.

just comes of as "told you so but nobody believed me", who cares? All bow to all knowing FatBoy.

I was amazed when I finally had an opportunity to climb around in one and discovered it had less room inside than my 210. Let me be clear though - I have YET to have a problem with seating or storage in my 210. I am not one of the people that has "issues" with the interior space. But I've always thought that the 210 had plenty of seating space but if they felt like changing the interior mold, could use more open space in the middle for gearing up and moving about the boat. The 220 appears to have gone in the opposite direction I had hoped, adding more seating and less open space.

Agree Erik, I don't think there is a 21' boat out there than is made to comfortably hold 10 people and gear. The SAN(real one) & X-1 do exactly what they are built to do and hold the average # of riders and gear just fine. As a result, they have developed a HUGE following.
On the flip side, I cannot for the life of me figure out why Correct Craft REFUSES to give seat access to the clamshell. I get by just fine and have learned to live with it....but asking someone to move every time I have to just reach in to grab whatever I need in there reminds me of what I consider a flaw.
I would not have bought a SAN with the seating configuration of the 220. I would currently be the proud owner of a 2003 X-2.

I think a new topdeck on a 210 could be an imporvement. If it can provide more storage and a new feel to a clasic boat. I think that by keeping the hull the same and improving the topdeck/interior is a step in the right direction.
Definetly a better direciton that building a totally new boat and discarding the 210 hull.
