    Rope Hangers - Never Enough

Just sharing how I set up my additional rope hangers on the Portside engine divider. The G series comes with the 2 hangers at the top of the divider and I added an additional 3 hangers below them so now I can hanger 2 vests and 3 ropes easily and off the floor. I purchased them from Nautique Parts.

It‘s keeping the compartments clean and ordered. Well done!
Sometimes it’s a **** of a mess when boards and ropes are all twisted up.

at least in the 210/230 we have the trays, can’t put anything on sides panel cause fatsac take all the place (when you swap them).

So on the 210/230 if you don't upgrade stern ballast tanks and just keep the stock tanks do you still have the whole rear locker as storage area or is some iof it taken up by stock ballast tanks?

I don't have a good photo of it and wish I did. Anyway, the tanks in the 210/230 are very different than your G23. The tanks are "L" shaped. Now that does leave a lot of storage in there. But then there's the "Pro Ballast" option which adds a 400lb bag on each side. When full, this takes up less than half the space. There's still plenty of space left for jackets, ropes, etc.

Some people end up removing the 400lb "Pro Ballast" bags and replacing them with 740lb bags from WakeMakers. This really makes the 230 surf like a BEAST, but it takes up ALL of the room in the lockers. You might be able to sneak a rope or maybe 1 jacket in with them full, but that's about it.

I wanted the extra ballast, but wasn't willing to give up all the storage so I added shot bags from LeadWake.

            Charles said It all.

210/230 comes with the hard tanks (400lbs). They are placed at the bottom of each compartments and take the place of the G sunpad filler cushion too (L shaped)

Most 210/230 comes with the surf option that include a 300lbs fatsac (in the 210) above the hard tank and have the storage trays to packs up things and avoid damaging the fatsac.
with the oem option it leave plenty room between the tray and the sac.

again many people swap the original fatsac for a 750 and get rid of the trays. it takes all the compartment place (maybe capable to put a rope or a vest but not more).
it really awakes those boats and makes the NSS works at his full capacity.

the other option is ordering customs sacs from wakemarkers that are around 600lbs for the 210 and keep those storage trays so we can put some ropes and vest.
personally it’s the best idea and it’s what I’ve done.
removing those trays left practically no room for anything since my side bench have a side underseat fatsac too.
and to be honest I really ain’t seen a big difference between the 750 sac full and mine 600.

Thanks all for the detailed info on 210/230 stern locker storage areas

Soul Surfer. Do you have the dimensions of the Customer sacs you ordered?

Sure. If I remember well they are 54" length, 16" width, 20" depth.
And i keep my storage trays.

Since wakemakers done it custom, it was taking eternity to have them in Canada.
So I bought a pair of Fatsac 750 and keep them 6 weeks. It does the job too, you have to add more pins on side panels to make sure they don’t « pop » and not fill the bags completely.
bit it works great keeping trays too, just give some attention. When I was filling my storage was open and the second the trays was moving I stop the pump and close storage.
sold the 2 fatsac for 40$ less than I purshace them and that’s it.

if i was to re-done this I would stay with the 750 because they are like 50% less priced and much easier to find (any shop have them). But they was already oredred from WM.
when you fill, you take the chronometer and you know exactly what time it take to fill them, so every time I fill them I’ll just start the countdown and stop the pump at 0.
no need to let the storage open or anything.

Thanks Soul. I currently have 750s in and yes I’ve spent my winter reinforcing my panels and bending the brackets back in place . My boat didn’t come with treys so I was thinking of buying some.

Hey guys. Great idea about hanging wet stuff in the back compartments. I just wanted to let you know Roswell came out w/a new tower drying system called the SEAHORSE. It easily clamps onto the tower and can hold up to 10lbs of wet gear. It has a grippy rubber that keeps it from sliding and fits multiple tower dimensions. Check it out online or at your local Roswell dealer.

Yeah I just ordered a pair of these from OnlyInboards since they had free shipping. They are $35.00 for a set. I'll let the forum know if they are any good or not after I use them this spring.
