I am heading down to Orlando today, and I should have some time in the boat tomorrow! Can't wait to check this thing out!
Anyone want pictures or video of anything in particular?

This is opening up a can of worms and probably appropriate for a separate thread but as person who likes surfing but LOVES wakeboarding it bums me out to see wakeboarding die at the expense of surfing. The boat industry has only precipitated it. I personally know many young people who would be fantastic wakeboarders but they spend more time honing their surf skills which by all standards is much easier to master. Hence why it's so popular.
But all sports fade at some point and only the hardcore are left. Look at barefooting, kneeboading, foiling etc. Wakeboarding will be as dormant as all those other sports in 10 years.
I don't want to threadjack (probably already did) so feel free to open another thread to continue.
My guess is a new Ski Nautique as well. But my dream would be a new barefoot nautique just cause it would be so **** cool.
I don't care if it looks like a Sherman Tank, if the bounce in the ski is as smooth as it looks in this video I would buy it. https://youtu.be/vSjLKZ0UV8E
Personally not loving the esthetics, and find it surprising to not see a Nautique logo on the side (not to mention adding the rear camera makes it hard to read the stern nautique badge). The real question that I'm surprised no one else here has brought up yet... Can the microadjusters be retrofitted on older SN's like the post 2012 NSS systems?

It does have a Ski Nautique badge on the side - under the rear part of the windshield...very classy, I like the understated look.
The only thing that amazes me is that they are pricing competition ski boats out of the range of a middle income consumer, yet they are sponsoring "Swervin' Weekends" aimed at getting people waterskiing again. They need to bring back the 196 hull and sell it as a budget ski boat or maybe even as a Centurion. Unlike expensive sports cars, which people love to look at but probably will never own, people are going to buy boats, they'll just look down market and buy what they can afford, most people can't afford a $100K three person boat (I know it holds more, but being realistic, it was designed for three)
Jeff, can you post any more pictures from the event? Maybe some more of the engine compartment when the engine box is raised? Pictures in general from the event? I wish I could have been down there.
I think I know the answer to this, but does this mean they are no longer making the Nautique 200? No open bow direct drive option from Nautique any more? I hope this is not the case. Maybe they will take Nautique 200 OB orders through 2018?
The skier guys aren’t gonna want to spend 100k on this thing. The only people who are, going to get it are the pros who are sponsored. Everyone else will look at mastercraft or Malibu and go oh... I can save 30k and still get a new boat...
I agree, correct craft needs to bring back a centurion direct drive or something more on the budget. Meant for skiing and that’s it, who cares about heated seats, fancy seadeck everywhere imaginable and touchscreens to go bad.
The event was supposed to be tomorrow morning (Tuesday), but it has been postponed due to weather.
I will be going to the factory anyway, and I will have some time in the boat, but if the weather is stormy, we won't be going out on the water tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get a break in the weather and we'll be able to drop one in and drive it. We'll see. They're calling for bad thunderstorms all day and 20+ MPH winds. Not exactly a great day for slalom! I doubt we'll do any skiing unfortunately.
I'll post any pictures you want, and I'll probably spend some time with Steve Carlton, so let me know what questions you want answered!

It looks great, but way out of my price range. If I want to buy a 2019, I will probably need to wait 5-10 years for a used one. (Probably 10) I will be near retirement by then and probably won't care anymore and still have my '02 196. It's an awesome boat!
