Too early to talk about a 2019 G23? Any expectation?

I am looking forward to seeing a video of the Power Tower being folded up and down, as well as how the bimini integrates. You will probably be one of the first to be able to post that.

I have seen both, and it is really cool. Tower folds back, not forward. The bimini folds up like normal, then spring-loaded pins detach the front mount of the bimini from the tower (the rear stays connected), allowing the bimini to swing down toward the floor. Then, as the tower folds back, the bimini locks into place in the lowered position. Very simple and well-done design. No more removing the bimini to lower the tower.

Mine will be ready at the end of August too, so I'll post a video when I get it.

I ordered a 2019 G21 last month. I ordered the Nautique cover for it. Is the cover made to be put on with tower down or with tower up for 2019?

I think in the past you could order either. Most are the tower up variety if you did not specify.

I have the order sheet from the dealer, and mine only lists the Tower-Up cover as available to order. It is too bad they don't make one cover that works with the tower up or down. I would love to tow covered with the tower and racks down, but then also cover at night in the slip with the tower up. (I also wish they had compartment and board rack locks. LOL!)

Looking forward to seeing pics of your new 2019s when you guys get them.

A tower down cover is an option that is listed, but price is TBD.

Yes, blueroom is correct. Both style covers are available, although I don't know why anyone would order a tower-up cover now that the tower folds so easily and the bimini doesn't have to be removed. Why wouldn't you want to cover your tower and speakers?

I agree that there’s no need for tower-up cover now. My g23 finishes 7/30, so I should be able to give you all video of the new tower in a little over a week.

After putting my tower down ever night on a different brand, (I had a tower down only cover) I started to wonder if I was going to wear things out. I do enjoy the tower up cover for people that live on the lake and can't have a canopy for our lifts. So yes there is a need for sure.

Ok that makes sense. I suppose that it can’t be that hard to have two slightly different cover types. On my price sheet the cost was the same.

Once I see both versions of covers I will probably just own one of each as I can see scenarios for each with how I will use the boat.
