Taking you up on the offer for the Nautique team to answer questions, I have a few:
1) I don't see lifting rings in the pictures, but i see spec's for distance between lifting rings. Is this an option that is just missing on the boats in the photos? A lot of us hang our Nautiques from the lifting rings in our docks. I wouldn't want to have to buy a new lift in addition to the boat. If no lifting rings, would it hurt the boats to lift by the bow eye and stern eyes?
2) With all of the tweaks to reduce spray, I would imagine the boat needs to be running level for them to work correctly, Compared to the 200, how sensitive is the new hull to crew weight balance side-to-side. (I see the spotter sitting in the middle with no one on the outside in the slalom videos and in another with the boat running with no skier I see the spotter on the outside but one passenger only in the back all the way on the driver's side.)
3) I think it is great that the trick wake was considered in the initial design with a factory "same weight and configuration for all" option instead of having to add weights to a cooler. The trickers will appreciate knowing what to expect when they get to a tournament, The down-side is that with the introduction of taking on and dumping ballast water there is a risk of infecting lakes with invasive species (i.e. Zebra Mussels). Some private lakes go through a time consuming process to insure no zebra mussels are present on promo boats before that are allowed in their lakes. Will filters on the water intake / exhaust be standard or optional to prevent this?
4) Do the micro tuners deploy in jump mode? How does the jump wake compare to the 200?
