Viper, the next time I prep my boat for the lake, I'll take a pic of where I put my wake shaper. I also put the top of the shaper board so that's it's right at the water's surface. When I put it on the slanted angle of the stern, I place the board right at the corner of the slant. It naturally has the proper angle from my experience. If I place it on the side of the boat, I also try to place the board as far back to the stern as possible. I've also even turned the shaper around so the suction cups are forward of the shaper when placed on the side. In this position, you're able to place it all the way back.

I recently got into drones as well and found that they are banned at all national parks. They seem pretty serious about it, as mentioned, and will toss you out if caught. I have flown mine in state parks and, in Michigan at least, it is fine, for now. I have a Mavic Pro as well and can attest to how stable it is. I feel that anyone who is willing to put in a little time to learn/read the instructions, can operate it without incident.

Thanks Azeus! The lakes we ride at are State Parks. Only National Park in Utah is Lake Powell & I haven't gone there in 8 years.
