    Unless you are teaching someone a deep water start, use the lower pull point.

        I could be wrong, but I don't think that is a tow point on the back step. I believe what you are referring to on the the back step is a retractable lifting ring.

        My 2011 210 didn't have a low tow point.

          My 230 has a retractable tow point on the rear step.

          Remember the 230 was originally a 236 and was designed as a do it all crossover. Turned out if you added weight you could get one of the best wakeboard wakes of that era and thus the 230 was born.

              Maybe I shouldn't have compared the 210 to the 230 because it may be completely different.

              Having said that, I have towed a tube from the rear lifting ring on my 2011 210 but it wasn't ideal. The sharper edges of the lifting ring definitely caused premature wear on the tow rope.

              I love having the low tow point on my GS20. I can't believe it's an option and doesn't come standard on a cross over boat.
