    2013 Nautique 210 Leak

Seeing if anyone may know what's going on. I have been chasing this problem for a few years where I get water in the bilge at higher speeds. Today I had someone else drive while I looked around. I noticed water coming off the prop shaft (I believe) under the transmission and being thrown in a circular pattern. Is this normal? Does a 2013 210 have a packing nut? Whats going one here? Thanks in advance for your help.

I do not think the 2013 had a packing nut but you really need to contact your dealer and ask for sure. My neighbor's 2013 G23 has this same problem and is in the shop now for repairs. He hasn't heard back from the mechanic yet but they suspected something there is either worn or has failed. His boat is doing the same as yours. At slow speeds, all is fine. When he gets moving, water is slinging off the shaft like crazy.

I'd guess you have a dripless packing shaft and it requires adjustment. Simple todo but post a pick and we can advise on what type of shaft packing you have.

I have an update. My local dealer says I need a new prop shaft seal. The boat has less than 230 hours and has been maintained by the book. My dealer reached out to Nautique but they denied any help to fix the problem. What a disappointing situation. Supposedly the part was updated on later models. Boat will be out of commission for at least another week.

Yeah, kind of a bummer. Must have been defective. My 2008 210 had over 1100 hours on original seal...
