    Surf set up on 210

I just upgraded from a '12 210 to an '18 and looking for advice on best surf set up. On my '12 I had additional bow ballast as well as 750's plumbed into hard tanks. We filled all of belly including additional bow ballast, both factory rear tanks, and 3/4 of the 750 sacs. I ran a nauticurl and pushed hydrogate all the way forward. It produced a great wave.

For the '18 I have the same sacs (750's and bow bag) plumbed into factory tanks. A lot going on with NSS, etc.... Would love to hear how you guys are set up.

    thanks

Well you already know a lot about what you need to do. Start with NSS at 0 (longest wave) and experiment with your speed. Start at 10.8 and go from there. For port side surfing, try the Hydrogate at 2 to clean up the lip.

I've had a 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017 210 and will be getting a 2018 soon. If you search some of my posts you'll find how we set up our 2017 210. 750's piggy-backed in the rear (in place of the pro ballast bags) and extra bow weight if people aren't willing to sit in the bow. Wave is amazing... at higher speeds (10.8-11.1) the wave firms up creating a nice hard lip.
