Zero Off or Perfect Pass Star Gazer ?

    Hello All:

    New to the Forum here.

I have a 2005 226 SANTE and need to replace my Perfect Pass and want to get some info on what is best going fw? The GPS units obviously have taken over and need some direction from a pretty informed / educated body of users.
    Thanks in advance

You’re only choice is PP as ZO needs drive by wire, which your boat doesn’t have. Get the stargazer upgrade. It is plug and play and not terribly expensive.

I installed the PP Stargazer upgrade on my '02 last year. It was very simple and we love it. The folks at Perfect Pass are very helpful. I thought I had a bad servo motor, but it just ended up being an issue with power to the unit. Mark Schwarz was great to work with.

Plug and play= literally find where it is... unplug it... unscrew it... screw the new one in place... plug it in.
Likely harder to find where it is than replacing the actual module. Mine had tons of zip ties.
If you have the multiline display it is <300. Likely Hass had to replace the display like I did. It is somewhere around 480.
I second the PP team. They make it almost too easy to buy from them.

Does any one know what the upgrade is running these days? I thought it was a $500+ upgrade to go from paddle wheel to GPS PP, not even including a new display.

It was 549 for the wakeboard pro version and 249 for the 5" display. about 830 to your home.

Yes, I ended up replacing the display because the Perfect Pass Digital Pro I got with the boat was only a one line display. I paid $857 to my home in May 2017.
