Has anybody bought a factory Nautique Demo?.. Good, bad, ugly, savings?

If you did buy a demo..what factory discounts were applied to purchase.. was it based on hours? How much off of Msrp was offered...basically a year end model used for competitions and demo events. Do all warranties apply? Would you do it again?

I understand this is a very small percentage of boat available an most these demo boats are equipped well above the average order...with optional larger engines..colors..and more.

I dont want to regret a decision not knowing the deal. ..I understand the percentages given on a brand new boat....but this demo option is new territory for me.

    please advise

Yes I would do it again in a heart beat. No direct experience with a demo nautique but in general it’s still considered a new boat. I just got a 16 this season 5 year warranty started when we bought it. Only thing I would do differently is take a closer look at it. There was a couple gel coat chips that the dealer didn’t know about it but they were fixed right away no questions asked. Depending on the hours I’d definitely check the interior condition as people might not be as careful.

Unless they were used for a ton of comps they’re generally really low hours too. So if you’re like me and put a lot on a lot having a 2 year set back on hours really works in your advantage.

I did as well. I can’t see why someone wouldn’t as you easily get an added 10-20% off the normal out the door price.
