    Whole New Respect for Nautique!!!

    Hello All,

As some of you might have seen over this past winter.......I restored a 2003 210 SANTE.

Quick History: I am a hobby restoration guy. I own a flat boat and am a salt water fisherman.....thats it.

A friend of mine owned this boat from the beginning and my wife and kids wanted me to try and fix it up.

Well........my threads explain it all.....I did my best to fix up the boat.......and I got her looking pretty descent.

I of course could not hold back putting this baby in the water......so I have had it in the lake 4 or five times trouble shooting some items.

The family planned trip to Flamming Gorge last weekend.....we decided to take the boat and test it out. (I got it fixed and cooling the night before we left....so no real test yet)

Got to the Gorge.......fingers crossed..........WOW.....all I can say ......WOW!!!!

Ran the beauty for 4 days on glass.......20-30 miles a day up canyon.

I cannot say how much or describe how nice this boat feels. I sort of want to call it a tank....but maybe thats not the right word......but boy it is smooth control and sounds is awesome. Far different than my outboard flat boat.

Anyhow....I thought I would just share with you all my experience and my new appreciation for the Nautique family. Beautiful pieces of machinery.

Thanks for all your help everyone!

Funny, we always refer to them as either "tanks" or "tractors". It fits. They get the job done by pulling better than the rest and in real comfort and style.

I took out a friend on my direct drive who does dredging and owns all kinds of boats. After pulling his kids I put him in the drivers seat and same thing. He could not believe how responsive and easy to run the boat is along with the comfort level while pulling skiers.

I have driven Several other brands of inboard boats, and none of them are as smooth and easy to drive as my Nautique.

One of the greatest testaments to Nautique is to go out and drive with someone in choppy water who owns a different brand boat, the difference is night and day. I have a buddy with a Centurion quite a few years newer than my old 210 and he couldn't stop saying how much smoother my boat was in bad water, then I let him take the wheel and he was like "man my boat feel so cheap compared to this"

Nautique makes incredible boats, among which the 03 210 is a standout ...
