F725, what settings have you dialed in for your 210?

He makes it look so easy. I could not be happier with our 2018 210 wave, do wish I was goofy because the goofy wave is so easy and clean.

Cedarcreek, our wave looks the same goofy or regular. Maybe there is a difference but I can't see it.

Jondavis, We have pro ballast but I take out the pro ballast bags and add 750's in the rear lockers. Everything full. Sometimes a little bow weight is needed but I do not piggyback anything for the bow. We'll throw a passenger up front if the wave is too washy or throw a 150 lb sac on the floor of the bow if we don't have enough passengers.

Speed is around 10.5-10.7 depending on the rider. NSS is anywhere from 2-3 typically, Hydrogate on newer model is at 5, or for older models just leave it at Full Vert.

Some slight shifting of passengers from one side to another can be done but we can usually make up for offset weight with the NSS. If you want a harder, sharper lip for surfing, shift more weight to the non-surf side and speed up a little.

I've said it in the past, Cole normally rides behind a Supreme V226 but he's said that the 210 wave is his favorite. He rides any wave good but....

For those of you who may not know Cole Sorensen, he was the Wakesurf World Champion a few years ago. He's a great kid.

They do look similar, the goofy is just so easy to clean up. We just have pro ballast but have the 750’s from our last setup so may throw those in and see what happens. It’s interesting you are running NSS on 2-3, we run nothing but zero and hydrogate 5 for goofy and 2 for regular.

Great to see this post. I just upgraded from a 2012 210 to an ‘18 and can’t get the wave dialed in compared to my ‘12. I have 750 sacs plumbed in rear and a bow sac plumbed. One minute the wave is good and the next day it sucks with the same settings. I keep adjusting but am still not happy. Crazy that my 2012 listed with a suck gate has a better wave than my 18 right now.

tmb, your 2018 210 should make an awesome wave. I've never had a problem getting a solid wave from our 210's, they may very slightly day to day with the amount of people, wind, etc. One thing I've discovered with the 2018 as I don't need nearly as much bow weight as I had with previous years. I don't know why but I used to have 200 lbs extra in the bow with the rear bags and tanks full but I can get by with having an 80 lb child up front now or no weight at all depending on how many people I have behind the windshield. I think the prop we are running is the stock prop and I always shoot for 3100 - 3250 rpms for the best wave. I'll adjust ballast until I reach the desired rpm's.

                  Hope this info helps.

Interesting about not needing bow weight. I think the wave seems pretty short which now weight helps lengthen. Maybe I’ll try without and see what happens.

Some bow weight may still be needed but I'd start with just the belly and then fill until the wave cleans up or gets to the length you think it should be.

F725 What prop do you run? I have a 17 210 and at 10.7 mph, ballast full, I have the 600lb Wakemakers exact fit in place of the pro ballast bags, and 300 lbs of shot bags, 100 up in the bow, and 100 on each starboard and port side with 3 adults in the boat and 3 or 4 young kids, mine runs around 3500-3550 RPM's.

zigs, I have never changed the prop on any of our 210's so whatever it's sent from the factory with. Build sheet says Acme PN 1579.

Just looked at my build sheet and it's a 1579 too. I bought mine used as a promo boat, interesting the H5 runs at 3550 RPM's weighted about identical to yours.

Great thread. Really want to mention the thread stating the 210 was a beginner boat but I’ll keep my lips sealed .

                              Love our 210
