    Phender Pro Options....?

I'm looking to add the Phender Pro setup to my 2015 G23 and am trying to understand the options and pros/cons of each.

    From Nautique Parts:
    https://www.nautiqueparts.com/produc...-pro-receiver/ and
    https://www.nautiqueparts.com/produc...k-release-pin/
    $170 per set

1/2" Big Sky version from eBay
    https://www.ebay.com/i/153085835761?chn=ps
    $110 per set

Taco Metals (Not sure if this is a 3/8 or 1/2 pin)
    https://www.boatoutfitters.com/stain...der-lock-cleat
    http://tacomarine.com/product/F16-01...se-Fender-Lock
    $47 per set

I assume the ones from Nautique Parts are the same (1/2" stainless), but simply have the Nautique logo?

Is the retrofit receiver helpful or needed with adding these to a G23?

Why is there such a big swing in prices on these things?

    Thanks in advance!

Big Sky is the manufacturer of the ones that come as an option from Nautique only difference is they have the Nautique logo stamped on them. For your G23 you will need 3 Phender Pro set ups per side and not 2 per side. This is one of the best options I purchased on my G23; I use them all the time, and they are much easier to hang bumpers vs using your cleats to hang.

Agreed. I have 3 per-side on my 230 and I use them all the time. We really like to dock-hop so this is important for me. None of the Nautique options are 1/2" and you really don't need ones that big on a 23-foot boat. The 3/8" are just fine.

You do not need the retrofit kits for a Nautique. Those are only for boats where you cannot get your hand behind to put the nut and lock-washer on. On all of the Nautiques, you have some place you can reach your hand up in there.

You can get the 3/8 (Which is the size Nautique uses) from Walleye.com for $99.

        https://www.walleyecenter.com/produc...h-3-8-receiver

These are the original but without the Nautique logo.

Up to you if it's worth paying twice the price for the Nautique ones.

I don't love the look on the Taco Marine ones. The pic makes them look a little cheap to me. If I had a G23 I'd stick with the original.

As others have said, you'll want 3 per side if you want to use the fender pro's for all your bumpers. You can also buy and use 4 and add more later.

OK, these ones from Walleye are not exactly the same as the ones from Nautiqueparts and it's more than just the Nautique logo. Take a look at this photo:

          https://imgur.com/Xde4zAA

These are the ones from Nautiqueparts. See the center? There's a little cover that slides down when you install the fender and slides back up when you take it out. These covers are NOT on the ones from Walleye. Or Overtons either. I tried when I was adding two more to my boat and they are not the same.

So the ones from Walleye don't have those covers when the pin is out? Big Sky makes them for Nautique and based on their facebook feed they also supply Walleye?

Nope. Believe me. I figured "they're exactly the same" and ordered them from Overtons. They do NOT have the center cover. I wasn't about to have 4 with the cover and two without so I sent them back and ordered the ones from Nautiqueparts.

You likely don't need 6 complete sets. Buy 6 receivers (3 for each side) and only 3 quick release pins. Unless you are in a situation where you'll need bumpers on both sides at once, you don't need 6 pins.

Charles is correct, the Nautique ones are the "Phender Pro LTX" line as you can see in the attachment.
