And definitely have your dealer make good on your warranty issues. If you were to trade it in you know they would make sure those issues were fixed before trying to sell it to another customer.

You can do a lot with 19k.

I agree with the other comments, your “old” 210 looks much classier. 300 hours is nothing...

Regards the panaray display, when I’m in the boat driving I’m looking forward or around me, with the occasional glance at the gauges. No matter how pretty the display is , it won’t give me a better day on the water, so if it were me I wouldn’t put any value on the new screen. My VW has some fancy new dash that you can customise and change to your hearts content, funnily enough it was a novelty for about 3 minutes, now I just drive the car...

I see no reason to pay more money for the newer boat in this situation. If your pump is lagging , replace the pump. It’s simple.

The hull is identical , and pretty much only difference is cosmetic. If you were a new boat every year kinda person with a “good customer” discount built into the price I’d say go for it for sure, but that’s not the case here. Now if you were talking opting for a GS series boat. I would say ABSOLUTELY

I know what you mean. It looks basic trim level - but my boat looked basic trim level too prior to bimini and tower speakers (still nicer though IMO). I think you are right, however, the red '18 was nicer in person on the water. Not as bad as I was expecting and my wife and kids agreed. We all thought a white or other colour tower would have set it off better than a red tower. Click image for larger version

It’s all about the money. What’s it cost to trade ? What you gonna spend ?

Frankly I disagree about the 18 being blah . It actually looks a bit more blingy.

But it boils down to cash

Yes, in the end it will come down to dollars. I wanted the general feel for the '15 vs '18 boats from the forum and I think I have that.

I like the '18s new helm/panaray/joystick, driver's seat, 400hp motor, low hours and fresh bumper to bumper warranty quite a bit but I'm not in love with the colour or leaving behind my heater tubes, bimini top, level II stereo (even though it is polk and a little weak), and overall look.

I guess I am on an island alone, but think the helm design and controls are worth the upgrade alone. If the price is right, the rest can be added and done probably better than from the factory. The stereo would be the least of my concerns, aftermarket is so good and easily added. The Bimini can be bought, but is expensive.

I'm glad I saw your response because I was originally thinking the same thing - overall improvement for the driver with auto hydro-gate, wireless go pro controls, less buttons to press, joystick convenience, etc. However, I do get the point of view that it doesn't really change the general activity experience once underway. We have a lot of different types of owners on this forum site. Those who buff & wax their 20+ year old Nautique after every outing, those who focus on their water sports and use their Nautique as a tool, those who want the newest features and tech that they can get, and many others. I knew I'd get different opinions due to this and that is great!

We went from a 2013 to a 2018 and the driver experiences are worlds apart, in my opinion. The auto volume on the stereo and the ability to adjust everything from the control knob much faster makes life so easy. Seems stupid, but that is where we are with comparisons now days. For the volume to decrease when you throttle back and increase when at cruise speed is just one less thing the driver has to worry about when a rider is in the water. To hit the speed button on the know panel and turn the knob to adjust speed quickly is so nice, same with volume and so on. I was in love with LINC2 until I got this.

It doesn't seem stupid to me. I expect the wake to be equal due to same hull and NSS system. The rider 'might' have an improved experience surfing with the remote pebble watch I suppose but driving is a big part of the day on the water for me...and if it is easier for my wife or other stand-in drivers to navigate controls then that is great.

Funny though, I have auto volume with the LINC 2.0 already (and thoroughly enjoy it) - given that my boat is a 2015 maybe that is a feature they added in after 2013.

                        Anyways, thanks for the feedback.

New warranty, new helm and bigger engine would be enough for me. Personal preference, but I like the red better.

Your 13 had auto volume as well... I know my '12 linc2 does. But control knob no.

I think the red 2018 looks better than you reef blue 2015, but look at my avatar. I like red boats. They don't call it resale red for no reason.

I do like the C scheme on the sides of the 2015 tho.

Funny you say that as the red boats are always slow to sell at my dealer. Guess they don’t like Ga Bulldogs down here in Florida.
