Guess my 13 had auto volume that I was not aware of, but no surprise there. I can for sure tell you both my wife and I are very impressed by the improvement in the drivers experience and the ease of wave setup. That said, there is a bit more difference between this hull and our 13 Hull then there is between the 18 and yours. Color scheme not considered because that is personal preference, I would do it in a heartbeat if the financials make sense to you.

Yeah - that's pretty much where my head is at. The financials are reasonable and I was really on the fence about the '18 boat compared to my '15 regarding features. The incoming tariff, run hours and warranty are the items pushing the issue for me. I won't be getting a brand new one any time soon so I want to be set for the next 5 years or so with the best solution I can have financially, resale-wise, and reliatbility-wise.

All boats can easily have auto volume....its an phone app, called "speed of sound". I love it and use it all the time. It does suck to always be having to turn volume up and down, especially when you have a surfer that does not like to stay up for more than 30 seconds, lol. You don't realize how valuable something that small can be till you have had it and then don't again.

To the OP question: Sounds like you have pretty much made up your mind on the 18. Do what makes you happy, YOLO. I was considering an upgrade too this past winter.....for me, I love everything about my boat (including the blue color, lol) and decided the cost vs benefit was not there in my situation. While there are some nice features and new buttons to push, I would not get a better wave and I have added everything to my boat to make it perfect for us and decided I dont want to go thru that process again just yet...also its broken in and no issues to deal with, new boats always have some tweaks to make, warranty items, etc. With this new tarriff coming down the line, you do have an additional incentive there. Good luck with decision, either way you have an awesome boat so there is no downside!

The heart wants what it wants....But I like the old boat better, looks wise, and I also don't like red. I would be super bummed to give up any accessories (lights etc). The hours you have are low so that is a non-issue.

If the money doesn't mean anything to you then do it. But not something I would do...Unless there was a hull change and I believed the wake/wave would be better...

The auto volume on the stereo and the ability to adjust everything from the control knob much faster makes life so easy. Seems stupid, but that is where we are with comparisons now days. For the volume to decrease when you throttle back and increase when at cruise speed is just one less thing the driver has to worry about when a rider is in the water. To hit the speed button on the know panel and turn the knob to adjust speed quickly is so nice, same with volume and so on. I was in love with LINC2 until I got this.
