Engine cover hinges???

New to forum...

Just purchased a 93 Ski Nautique. The engine cover has no hinges and I am looking for advice on what the best type of hinge to get.

Charles has the correct part, order an extra one as they tend to wear out over time. It isn't really a hinge, it's a piece of plastic with a "V" wedge cut in it.

Yea. It's actually quite amazing how long they last though. I had my 99 Air for 17 years and I think the factory hinges lasted 15 years.

We've gone thru quite a few on our club boats. I usually end up changing one hinge on one of the three boats every summer. Used hard, put away wet. At least I know the drivers are checking the oil.
