    G Series 2020 Wish List

What upgrades or new features would you like to see on the G series boats in 2020? Leave any existing issues or complaints in the other threads, but instead talk about what could make a great boat even better.

    I'll start....

People love to have their phones accessible - for taking photos, texting, etc. Inevitably, they jam them in the cup holders when they aren'’t in their hand. Larger phone models don’t fit very well, so they end up bouncing around. Some basic slots molded in the cup holder areas that you could stick phones in for storage would be an awesome addition. It would free up the cup holders and give people a place to put their phones.

Some additional small item storage would be a nice feature. The G's have amazing storage for larger items. A few little cubbies for sunglasses, or opening seat backs with spaces in them for people to stick a sweatshirt and such.

Optional dividers that could be put in the under seat storage, to keep things separate or from sliding around.

A stowable bow ladder is a nice to have.

Plug and play modular lighting that could be added and removed from the tower or other locations.

Stretch wish...... A couple inductive charging mats for compatible phones.

I agree with 'blueroom' about the storage and dividers.

Our phones constantly overheat in either of my storage glove boxes. I would love to see some small electronic storage/charging compartments located below or out of direct sunlight. Perhaps even vented compartments with USB ports. We use small bins from Lowes in the under-seat storage areas to keep items organized. Factory dividers that slide up and down to allow for multiple sizes and full-area-use would be perfect.

Additional board rack sets on each side would also be a huge benefit for larger families and groups, especially when each person has their own wakeboard and surfboard.

Larger or additional space for an additional insulated cooler would be nice.

I often hear people asking for rear shower options, but never used the ones I had on other boats. That is a good option, especially if you have ducks or other birds that treat your swimstep like a dive-bar restroom. I learned last month in Havasu what a mess that can be to clean up without any water pressure nearby.

I would like to see customer-direct software and recall notifications that let owners know that they need to take their boats into a dealer for a software update or a repair. (Perhaps they have this already and I just don't know...?)

If it turns out to be true about the new tower being power-only, I would like to see a manual option, or at least the ability to manually override the tower function in the event the power fails. (I called Nautique today and asked about the ability to manually raise and lower the 2019 G tower. The woman who answered did not know, but agreed to find out and contact me with an answer.)

A cheaper price and a improvement on the surf wake. Get rid of the shelf/hole.

When looking at a brand new nautique the other day, they had phone storage midship next to the cupholder's which looked like they would hold any of the plus size phones already with usb ports close by for charging. Have you not seen these? I can't remember the actual term Nautique used to call these phone docks but they are nice and conveniently placed behind the cupholders near the oh sh't handles behind the driver's seat and behind the observer's seat. Now I don't own a iPhone + and I'm not 100% sure if they do fit, I do know they have already implemented this somewhat in the new boats.

Now I know they weren't in the G series and this is a G series Wish list, I'm sure with some redesign of the speakers in the cockpit they could easily do this with the G series, just for now the speakers are located where the docks are on the GS and 210 models

all i want is the same hull, another 1200 pounds subfloor ballast (400 each tank) - heck, add a 4th midship tank at 800 pounds - and 3 minute fill/empty times.

I think faster ballast is a great call!

                        Just a couple of things

                        -Transom seats
-Cool feel material on seats etc..
-A few movable /removable dividers in storage areas
-Phone app that can also control some of the electronics on the G, i.e. stereo, lights, ballast, surf system etc ....

you guys asking for transom seats would really use them a lot? i hope that don't change the rear at all - adding seats back there means they would take away from storage space.

Another thing I'd like to see is miniature tabs or some sort of ballast shift so that it's easier to balance the boat when wakeboarding or cruising without having people shift around as much.

Ballast shift has been standard since 2017....
