SeaDek or not, I still don’t think it’s ok to get out of the water and hop straight into the boat without first drying off on the swim deck. IMO, it should be common curtesy.

No worries,. it is up to you, your boat. To burn off energy and make them tired, I actually encourage the kids to jump in to the water from the bow, swim around the boat, climb up the platform, run to the bow and jump off again, and again. I do this because anything IMHO is better then actually pulling them tubing.

I'm actually shocked that people let dogs on these new, super expensive wakeboats. Would you take rover for a ride in your brand new Porsche 911 GT3? No you would not.

Seems like they provoking it for real with all this "It's not tobacco" "It's just vape and totally safe" BS. Sorry for being salty, but this gets really out of hand.
I'm growing a strong dislike for Vapers with this attitude. There are young guys at my work that vape in the office. I've straight up told them to stop it and that if the wrong person see them they can get fired. It's illegal to Vape in the office and my bosses mom died of lung cancer last year.

I don't really mind the smoke side but others may and while it might be safer than smoking the long term effects are unknown. I really don't want to have to turn a blind eye to your illegal activity each day. It's ****ing disrespectful.

Happened to me with my wife's new swimsuit. So it is not just non-swimsuits that cause this.

Sun took care of it too though so in the end no big deal.

Our demo on our new boat two of us were wearing jeans and there was a slight rain so things were a little wet. Let’s just say we left it with the dealer to be detailed before picking it up.
I try to avoid anything that leaks colour or has sharp buttons for now on.

I agree with all of the above, and I'm admittedly- a disturbed man on this topic. Everybody must apply sunscreen before we leave; you may be able to reapply lotion while out, but that is it. Lastly, and this is evidence of my freakishness-nobody sits on vinyl. The first thing I do before folks get in the boat in my boathouse is spread towels on the seats. Dry off on the platform before you get in... Yes, a freak.

Drives me nuts, I don’t mind when the young kids do it, but full grown adults could have a little more courtesy.

I don't have this problem with either, as I kindly tell them the rules; I'm always right there with a fresh towel for them when they have exited the water and are standing on my platform. I help the kids dry off as well. All life jackets are removed right there and strapped to the grab handle above the swim platform.

My 1 big beef is people stepping on the vinyl. especially cause I re-did my entire boat last year and at that time installed a step into the center of back seat (got the idea from the G3 and couple other well designed boats) so its easy to get to the swim platform without stepping on any vinyl and I also remove the corner cushion when docked so people can step over gunnel and onto the decking under corner seat so they dont have to step on the vinyl to get into the boat.
Still, you would not believe how many people step right NEXT to the built in step and on the vinyl back seat....and then step up on the side sundeck vinyl cushions at rear....rather than the factory walk-thru at center. Blows my mind! (guess I should have gotten "STEP HERE", or some "footprints engraved/etched into the piece of decking on the step, lol).

Basically now when someone new comes on my boat, before they get on the boat from the dock I ask them to hand me their shoes and tell them the one thing I am very anal about is my vinyl and to please not step on it and to use the step in back seat when climbing to the swim platform. Most people pay attention and show respect when I take a moment to explain a couple simple rules. For most part I am pretty easygoing when on boat since I go on boat to relax and want others to enjoy it as well. Even if someone does step on vinyl, I typically give a gentle reminder the 1st time or 2....tho if it keep happening, all bets are off and they may be swimming sooner than expected! Haha

One really nice thing I like about Deckadence flooring is that water coming into boat goes to bottom immediately due to the design of the flooring and does not get anything laying on the floor wet. Big upside to me and since I have deckedence in cabin, I typically have them put wet life jackets on the floor at back corner of boat (after dripping off on swim platform). I have seen some cool racks come out that are designed so you can hang life jackets over side of boat to dry out. I also sometimes do that tho typically they get hung on the rack only if we stop somewhere to swim since I would rather have some water on floor than have the zipper on life jacket bouncing around and potentially scratching my gelcoat or tower. Guess we are all anal in different ways....

If you really want to drive yourself crazy, let your teenagers take out the boat with their friends.
The rules I have been able to enforce are :

                            1. If you don't return to the dock with all the parts, lines, fenders, life jackets, canvas, tow ropes, boards, and other accessories, its going to be embarrassing when I force you to hit up all your freinds on social media and/or drive back to party cove with me and pull up to all the boats full of teenagers looking for our stuff.

                            2. After it returns to the dock, I don't care if your friends help clean up or not, but you are essentially grounded to boat cleaning duty until its back in ready to use condition. That might mean a dozen trips up from the dock to haul trash, wet towels, and left-behind clothing and shoes by yourself (always amazed at how much other people's clothing, towels, flip flops, and life jackets get left behind). Also plan for hours picking wet potato chips out of the crevices and vacuuming sand out of everything. Up to you if/how you want to try and get your friends to be less messy or help clean up after but if you let them go without helping, that's your problem.

                            3. No booze, no weed, no tobacco. I will (have) rat out your friends to their parents if I see any under-age or illegal use or contraband.

                            4. Nobody drives who does not have their boating safety certification (with copy of documentation on-board).

So yeah, the teenagers bring a lot of inappropriate things on board.

Chips. Cheetos and the red Doritos make some of the worst messes.
Pizza (apparently there is pizza delivery on the lake, I didn't realize).
                              Red or Blue Gatorade.
                              Taco Bell
Tanning lotion with the orange stain in it (self-tanner).
Music with R-rated lyrics blaring from the tower speakers.
Super-cheap sunglasses that nobody should ever wear.
                              Teenage boys.
                              Packer's sweatshirts.
