    Red or Blue Gatorade.
    Taco Bell
Tanning lotion with the orange stain in it (self-tanner).
Music with R-rated lyrics blaring from the tower speakers.
Super-cheap sunglasses that nobody should ever wear.
    Teenage boys.
    Packer's sweatshirts.
Packers sweatshirts; yeesh, I'd agree. Of course, I live in Texas; we'd hold a person's head underwater if some yankee brought a Philly shirt. But then again, no Philly fan or non-Bama fan will set foot on Rosie...like never...

Years ago I had a couple guys that went crazy doing weird crap....Show up with uninvited dogs, kids, friends. No equipment. Bags of weird food...I felt terrible but came up with this crazy list.

NOTE. This is really for REGULAR riders. If you are a guest that comes once a year. Then no worries...Whatever. But if you want to be a regular rider that is VERY different.

      Boat Regulars’ Etiquette
It is understandable that everyone has a different experience and knowledge level. So if you have questions, be sure to ask.
      • Have your own equipment
        • Board/bindings/wetsuit/dry suit/life jacket
        • Reminder, you’re using plenty of boat owners items-rope, handle, pumps, etc.
      • Come on time, help during the session, and expect to stay after
        • Carry gas cans to the boat
        • Help fill/empty ballast sacks, put boards on racks, etc.
        • At end of session wipe down boat - use your own towel if one is not provided
      • Money
        • $5/ for each 15 minute set (remember you are pretty much just covering gas)
        • Reminder, you’re not paying for the boat, maintenance, off-season storage, insurance, property taxes/boat slip
      • Taking care of the boat
        • Remove shoes (hint: bring slippers in cold weather)
        • Don’t throw or drag your equipment on the vinyl; avoid stepping on vinyl if possible
        • If you break something, expect to pay to fix it (i.e. you poke a hole/scratch the vinyl)
        • No dark color beverages that could stain, or any food that has crumbs, or is messy
        • Clean up after yourself, and take your own trash off the boat
      • YOU are the boat owners’ guest and should ask before bringing your friends, kids, family, or pets
      • Boat Driving
        • Expect that you will take a turn driving; this is not a taxi cab or Uber experience
        • When you drive the boat, do not power turn back to the rider
        • Drive as straight of lines as possible to maximize rider trick opportunities
        • Do not gun the motor at any time, including pulling up the rider

Haha! I've given up on this. My wife thinks that all of us who feel this way are crazy, OCD freaks and maybe we are. The mere fact that we frequent this site means that we are "enthusiasts" who cherish our boats.

Honestly, I've really relaxed on a lot of things that used to drive me bonkers. Part of that is because I don't own a boat with carpet anymore. Another part is because my wife says I have too many rules and it takes the fun out of boating.

The thing that drives me nuts now is when people eat food and drop crumbs in the floor and between the seat cushions. They never offer to help clean the boat up and then they don't understand why it takes ME so long to clean the boat up by myself.

This October will be 30 years of marriage for me. My wife and (grown/adult) kids are well trained. While they may roll thier eyes at times, they know... What I'm about to say won't make many happy-but here goes, "benevolent though it may be, this is a dictatorship"... I'm not taking votes on what food or drinks can be brought on the boat, or what practices will be followed to keep me from a heart attack...

As such, your wife would just love me - I'm sure...

My wife already dislikes you because you're a Bama fan! Lol Just a little SEC ribbing.

That was a good response! (...and I understand "Bama fatigue") Stay safe and well!
