surf wave set up for 100-120 pound kids? for g21...

Not a surfer, but a couple times a year i have kids that want to surf...

from this forum for adults my starting point is : 11.5/nss 0/ncrs 5/full ballast/no extra weight

but that was too fast for the 100-120 lb girls age 14...

yeah, i know lots of variables...but it was just too fast and too big a wave for them...

I assume i just have to not be full, but how much? 1/2, 3/4....

what should setting be for 9.5 mph?
what should setting be for 10.5 mph?

It would be nice to have a starting point for those 2 points?

I have a G23, so this may not be exactly what you need but I bet it’s pretty close. The profile I have for my 9 year old is 75% front, 50% in both rear tanks. 11.6mph NSS 0, NCRS 2. Looooooong wave that still has plenty of push for her and doesn’t scare her to death!!

scottb7 We run ours two different ways for our 10 year old who is about 90lbs.

Full ballast, 11.4mph, NSS 0, NCRS 5 (basiclly factory settings except speed is bumped up .5 mph.
      Front ballast 20%, port 100%, starboard 90%, 11.4 mph, NSS 2, NCRS 4

Also run 250 steel shot on port side for both. The second setup creates a steeper wave.

You could drop speed down to 10.5, with full ballast, wave will be steeper but with less, it would work well.
Not sure if wave will form at 9.5, I know on my boat it takes around 10.2+ for wave to form.....tho you may be able to get wave formed and then back off the speed some?

My crew typically surfs around 10.8, gives a little more time to recover on tricks, etc
