Height of bimini

Quick question to those who own biminis: I am looking to order one for our 99 SNOB, and what is the general consensus on bimini height? Looks like from Johnson, they roughly rec. height from floor to be 5'. Is this what most of you have? Any other ideas on other bimini manufacturers that aren't quite as expensive?

I'd recommend www.towerbiminis.com. Yes, they do make biminis for boats without towers, and their quality is great.

I believe the height is personal preference mostly. I went with 32" (from mounting point). The higher the bimini, then the more shade you provide for the fish. I saw a tower bimini this past weekend that was mounted as high as possible on the tower. Not only did it look ridiculous, in my oppinion, but it was worthless for providing shade.
