    RE: tubes

Two things: I assume there is no issue using the lift ring for towing them, right?

Also - as far as tubes go - if it's a kite tube, then I definitely would NOT use the tower.

      RE: tubes

I'm sure many have towed tubes w/ lifting rings without incident, that said the purpose of the lifing ring is for lifting up. Towing puts a different load/stress point on the ring. At the least I would double check and make sure the adjustment nuts are super tight. I pulled some kids tubing for the first time in years this weekend, first time I used the pylon, the second time i used the spool on the back (95SN). The pylon mounting made for much better control of the tuber. Really never considered using the tower. Disclaimer: I was only pulling 4 yr old girls.

I pulled 10 skiers out of the water with my 98 196 4 were hooked to the tower. We pull 2 tubes all the time with no problem. We have footed , flew and flopped from that rack without a problem. I am counting on that CC worked in some heavy saftey factors for load considerations but like all equipment keep an eye on it.

          All,

I pull my tubes from the tower. 216, so it allows us to still use the back seats. I have Air Head Rip and Slash....which dont whip much and the kids love them. Only allowed to use the tubes with their freinds (who dont ski) or when it gets to rough. I pull a lot harder on a wakeboard than the tubes ever do......

We keep the speeds low...definitely below 20.

I tow my kids on a tube from the tower on my 210.I don't like tubes either, but the kids do.what else can you do in the middle of the day when all the other tubers are messing up the lake.I'd rather go boarding at 7:00 am anyway-no one else around.I think the sticker on my tower says you can tow anything from it,except a parasail. My son only weighs 75 pounds & likes to go at 20-25 mph.
