what would be the price ballpark for a 2018 G23 loaded (with steer assist) used with 115 hours on it, with trailer?

Let me preface by saying I am a tightwad.

Somewhere around here are the build sheets for 2018 Nautique, which makes it pretty easy to see what MSRP new was. I might even have one somewhere in my computer at home if nobody else has one. Find out how much the dealer discount off of MSRP typically is in the area the boat was sold for. That might be variable depending on the dealership mood the day the buyer purchased, but it is usually 15-20%. Could be less, could be a little more.

I then usually expect to lose 10% of value the day I take a boat off the lot, and then another 5-10% per year thereafter.

Steer assist was a 9K option, not sure that the options maintain value as much as the base value does. I would aim lower than NYRyan, 130K, but would need to look at that build sheet. PM sent.

It's no secret that boat loaded is 190K. So you are saying 130 with 115 hours on it??? That would be a pretty sweet deal...but i'm going with Ryan...about 145-150.

They are $128-$150 on only inboards. so i would say you could pick one up for $120k to $140k...depending on equipment...

Prices very much depend upon where you are purchasing the boat. Prices in the south east (Florida / Texas ) in particular are generally lower because of the volume of boats sold in that region. Other areas have much lower sales volume and prices are usually higher.

Also, prices for G23s have been increasing 5-6% each year and that has helped boost the resale prices for used Gs. A loaded 2018 G23 with trailer/steering assist probably for around $170-$175K. Its unlikely you could find one much below $140K.

This one at 128K says it has a thruster. But this ad is terrible, just copied and pasted, so it might not actually have the thruster the ad mentions. The pictures make me wonder why they bothered with a paid subscription. Another one in Arizona without a thruster for 125K.

I know the boat in Arizona. It is not loaded and was used for a surf school. Im pretty sure it has over 300 hours...

yes, 400+ hours. Hours don't scare me at all, if maintenance can be documented. Now the word 'school' does scare me a fair amount. Mostly because I am not sure I can talk to the principal driver, who may or may not give a crap about the boat.

I agree about hours. People freak out about hours. Consider the average annual speed of an automobile is about 40mph. So for a car in a year, 12,000 miles is considered light/typical use. But this is about 300 hours on the engine (12,000 mi / 40mph). Yet for a boat 300hrs is considered heavily used. They are the same engines after all. And boats don't have complex brakes and transmission wear to worry about either.

All that said. The request was for the price of a loaded 2018 G23 with 115 hours. And one would be hard pressed to find one that fits the conditions the poster stated for below $140K. (Weird colors aside).

It’s only warranty if the dealer near you will honor it honestly.

I’m batting 1 for 3 in getting good service and warranty work as a .....“”you didn’t buy yer boat here””..... guy.

Nyryan, is it really a problem on service with the dealers ?

In my experience so far, yes. It’s a problem. My prop shaft broke Labor Day weekend. Still haven’t gotten the boat back yet. I can’t imagine how mad I’d be if this were the beginning of summer.
