    G21 wave set up

Finally bought it last month and got a few rides in before winter arrived. I've read a few forums about setting the wave up and just looking for advice. What I have now. Bow empty, Port 7/8 full, Starboard full. NSS 1. NCRS 4. Running at 10.9. Pretty happy so far but has anyone added much additional weight? Thanks !

You will get 100 different opinions on this but if I was surfing behind this boat all ballasts 100 % filled . Bow fill helps elongate wave.
200 lbs of lead under port side observer seat to counter prop rotation. Speed 11.2, NSS 0. ( fully deployed) and NCRS at 2-3

Stud....I've got a 2015 G21. I use no extra ballast. I run 1/2 belly.....full PORT if you are running like the above picture...and half in the Starboard side. Not sure why you are running full on the opposite side. Also...NSS 0...NCRS 5 ....Also......bump that speed up to 11.4 to 11.6. My wave looks a bit better then yours does. Just try different combos...... good luck.

I’ve got a full season on my 2018 G21 and I surf regular. My setup is both rear ballasts full, front at 70%, NSS 0, NCRS 3-4, with 300 lbs lead ballast on port side. Started the season with only 30% up front, but going to 70% lengthened the wave out. Congrats and enjoy your G21!

Yup... 100 different opinions for sure but all have value!

I had a 2015 G21 for a summer and loved it. Belly empty or close to empty depending on how many people were sitting towards the rear of the boat. Offset a little more weight on the surf side rear. NSS around 2 or 3 and NCRS at 2 or 3. Speed at 11.1

I tried surfing with the belly full but felt the wave just got too small and washy. Maybe I should've added weight in the rear lockers?

          Great looking boat! Enjoy!!
