You definitely should test them all, and decide what works best for your family. Totally agree with "jack of all, master of none". Also your comment "perhaps some skiing" tells me a 210 would just as well as a GS for you, in that respect. But, for surf and boarding, the 210/230 is the better option, and you can save yourself a couple of bucks. Don't get me wrong, crossovers have their place, but I didn't get the vibe from your post that indeed a crossover is what you're going for. Have fun testing them all out. Having to decide between multiple, top notch boats is a great problem to have!
