Yes Jim was great to deal with throughout the process. I have Speakersox products on my tower speakers and board racks. Both quality products.

Bad idea for storage, as they will hold moisture in.

Glad you brought this up and posted pics. I bought a 100ft long X 4' wide roll of fabric over a year ago (similar to the nice material they use to make the factory boat covers), my intention then was to make a "skirt" for my boat that would tuck under existing cover to protect the gel from UV whenever the boat was sitting on trailer outside, but did not end up doing it since its so rare for the boat to sit outside, plus I decided to build a fully enclosed garage for it since then when I built my new home (previously I had a metal carport that was enclosed on the sides but open on front and rear which I enclosed to keep the sun/rain off the boat using some ghetto tarps that I secured to the roof and let hang down to the ground. Was soooo ugly looking, my wife hated it, lol).
Anyway....since I abandoned that project, my intention was to use the fabric to make some covers for my 3 board racks, and also make a cover for my tower. I trailer the boat back home in evening quite a bit since 70% of the time I go surfing in summer with friends, we hit the water sometime between 3-5pm, surf till dusk and then head home, so I get a lot of bugs on the tower and racks, I did buy SpeakerSox for my tower speakers and love them (fyi...I wax my tower with collonite....and put 303 on it which makes wiping off bug splatter MUCH easier but the board racks are a lot harder to clean off). I now live in lake neighborhood with a private boat launch, but its a large lake (520 miles of shoreline) and its either a 30min drive pulling the boat/trailer to the place we typically meet to surf (3 of us surf together every week, blessed to have good friends like this that love surfing as much as I do)....or I can drop the boat into the water here in my neighborhood, but still about a 25 boat drive and to me there is no point in adding the hours to the boat when its just as easy for me to trailer.
Sorry, getting off track here. Winter makes me day dream about surfing, such a good way to release stress and tension during the work week.
Anyway, glad you posted this thread, it made me remember to put this on my list for stuff to get done this winter. Its something I can easily do in the evening and enjoy little projects like that for the boat, tho I may change my mind once I get these started since I have done very little sewing.

Those are nice looking covers! It would be worth the money to buy them, if I did not already have everything I need here to get it done. Tho, it would be double that for me since I have 3 racks on the boat.

Jim from Speakersox said those Roswell Strapless racks were a bear to make because of the odd shape nonetheless they fit well . You may want to call him because he may have your rack covers already in inventory vs making them on your own . The non Roswell Triton rack covers from Speakersox are much less expensive then the Triton covers because they require less fabric and labor. Last I checked they were like $38 per rack cover
