It produces a pretty good wakeboard wake, but I'm not a very good wakeboarder (no inverts or spins). I don't ski anymore because getting up hurts my shoulder. I'm just now starting to get into surfing and think I have the wrong board for this boat. I'm going to try a different board in the spring.2007 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV, 1995 Cobalt 200

The prices on boats are very high, but in the last 12 years I have owned 4 boats and I now have 38k in equity in my current 2014 g23. Going in the boat is my family's hobby every weekend so I will always have a boat loan. There is no point is trying to pay off a 100k boat. So over the years I built up my equity and and Im just going to keep trading up. Nautique will hold its value better than any other boat on the marker thats for sure. Im in Louisiana and we have a mastercraft dealer 30 mins away and they really don't move many boats compared to other states. I think TX,FL have a good market. The west coast is all centurion thats for sure. I look at boats everyday on onlyinboards and my wife think something is wrong with me. I tell her its like the stock market.. I might need to sell and buy a newer boat depending on the economy.

Strapless board racks...meh....power tower....no one would have missed it if it hadn't come out.....

I should add that I drink the Nautique Kool aid. I haven’t even looked at another manufacturers website in probably 5 years. For Christmas though, I hope Santa brings Nautique a batch of driveshafts that were not made by drunk elves..

lol that is my point. In the earlier years, things like a tower, ballast, perfect pass, NSS, etc are things that truly make wakeboarding and wakesurfing a much more enjoyable experience. All these new gadgets though... they are just really expensive fluff because no one has thought of any more “game changer” options lately. I hate it every year when a manufacturer comes out with something they call “game changing” when it’s really not. 10k stern thruster? Just learn how to dock. Power folding tower? Do that many people fold their towers every outing?

Not seeing a slowing in the NW at all. Dealer can't get their hands on enough G's. Judging from how hard it is to get allocation, sales on Nautiques must be strong elsewhere as well.
Tallredrider - There has always been something weird about the Utah boat market. We couldn't find a G23 anywhere in the NW a couple of years ago - or even order a new one. Lot's of inventory in Utah, and prices were about $10-15k less than what we would expect to pay here on a sub 30 hour almost new loaded boat. Drove our G23 11 hours home from Draper (originally a St. George boat). Seems like you guys have a few people that like to buy a boat for a trip or two to Powell and then sell them and get a new one.

To say the market is slowing for some brands, based on a number of secondary listings, would be to assume that those original owners moved to another brand. For all thats known, they traded up to a new model of the same brand.

I was at our dealers holiday party 2 weeks ago and he told me they have already sold every 210, 230 and G21 build slot they have for 2019. Couple of takeaways. I am in Dallas where two things are true. The economic opportunities are endless right now so everyone seems to have extra cash, or at least live like it, and second, Buxton is one of the top sales dealership YOY. I do find it interesting that the three lowest price point models in the lineup are sold out first. Could be a supply issue, they just have more GS and G23 slots, but also could be a little hesitation to spend such a large amount on the other models. I am a happy camper sitting in a 2018 210 that they know is always for sale if they can make the deal work for me, haha.
