Think you’re going to have a hard time getting people to give up their deals and potentially make their dealers mad. Best bet is to try and establish a relationship with your local guy.

I’d be careful believing any discounts without seeing written proof. 20% sounds like a healthy discount.

Thanks, you are probably correct. I was just curious, oh well I’ll hope I got a good price as we are moving forward lol

I don't talk about the discount that I got. I do the best I can to figure out what a good deal is. Didn't you have another thread just like this a few months ago?

After I have decided to purchase, then I don't talk about my deal for 2 reasons: I don't expect my dealer to give the same deal to the next guy, and want him to know that. If they tell me it is a great deal and my research also suggests that, then I march off into what we could call "willful ignorance". There is always someone who will quote a higher discount than I got, which makes me mad. I prefer to be happy, so once the deal is made, I just get excited about the boat coming and move forward. It sounds like you are doing that too, so good times are in store for the DAWGS family!

Very true .... thanks . Yes I did have a similar thread it was on a used boat, but we bought a new one instead. This is our first “real” boat so just trying to do as much research as I can. I know you are right about one thing .... I will not care what the price was when we are on the water

Did your dealer offer 20% off MSRP?

Tall rider is spot on here. You’ll always hear about someone who got some crazy deal but most people don’t even remember their exact numbers a week after the deal is made...so half of them are just blowing smoke. I think the ones who get the best deals are quiet about it.

If the deal is done then forget the numbers and focus on the amazing summer you’re about to have in a brand new boat- congrats!

A note regarding the windshield on 2019 - talk to your dealer about adding a rubber protection if you plan to drive with it open as it does end up bumping glass on glass if you do. Probably going to have factory created solution by the time you get yours but just be aware...mine was delivered late August and it scratched a little bit. Warranty will cover it but still a pain.

Nashville boat show last night.... 2019 G23, well optioned, advertized
price was 20.5% off MSRP. $165k.

                    the RI257... $178k!

sat in all the major brands and models. Nothing particularly exceptional except for these few standouts.

$178k for the RI257 for cushions still not on hinges?

The Supreme ZS232 for $99k was impressive. 4K+ lbs of ballast.

Tige seems to pack a ton of value in ... 20-40k$ less than some of the others. ZX5 at $145k was impressive.

the only real surprise to me? MasterCraft interiors, vinyl and seating. Blows all others away including Nautique. if you haven’t sat in a 2019 Mastercraft X model... theirs is well ahead of everything else. And I’m not talking a little... it’s noticeably in a different category. The XStar and X46 were $175-185

So the G23 was MSRP of 200K+? Or it was MSRP of 165K with selling price about 132? 132 seems too low, and 165 seems too high. I am going to guess it is 165K selling price, Ugghh!

I never thought I would see the day that Centurion would be more expensive than any Nautique, although the 257 is a huge boat, and would be better compared to the G25. IIRC the 25 had a base price about 20K more than the G23. If that held true, the G25 vs. Ri257 would be almost a wash.

Tall, the selling price on the G23 was $165... boat show only. Said it’d go back up to $168/9 after the show.

and yep, the G25 there was $177? I can’t remember exactly.

I can’t even consider how someone would pay $178 for a RI257 with the Gs the same price or less. I think this is a perfect example of how hype and marketing drive the industry and sales.

the Mastercraft X series seats... the foam and vinyl... way ahead.

178 for a Ri257. Wow just wow. That dealer is obviously has that thing marked up through the roof.

The zx5 is definitely a great option for the money.

Yes. Some Centurion dealers don't have many boats allocated so they try to sell the few they get for nearly list price. $178k for an Ri257 is robbery if you ask me.

The $165K includes the trailer I presume? What about taxes, are they included in that figure? Assuming that doesn't include taxes then at $165K and a discount of 20.5% it means the MSRP on that rig is $207.5K. Is it the black and white one on TNT's website?

Regarding G23 vs G25, the base MSRP difference between the two is around $13K from what I have seen
