2015 g23 here. I run 23 or 23.3 mph. 75ft Rope. Usually have about 4 people in boat when riding. 400 lbs of lead spread evenly between rear and windshield, and skewed to port side to offset prop rotation. Then we often put a 450lb bag on the floor as far back as we can.

My ultimate goal is to plumb in 350lb bags under the two side seats in cockpit. Anyone have tips on doing so?

how much exactly you can run will depend on the engine, but with a 550 the maximum is about: 750 in each rear tank, about 350 under port observer seat, 1300 in bow. if you scale back the weight, you'll want to do so in a manner that sticks with those ratios. you can certainly modify this to take some out of the rear and bow, and put in the midship seats, and achieve the same stance/bow rise angle.

I asked this same question and got this response:

        Installation:
        Fill/Drain:
The system installation will consist of routing hose from the ballast pumps to the under seat area.
Place a tee fitting right near the ballast pump outlet and run that hose to the bottom of the ballast bag. (loaded under the hatch in the floor near the rear seat)

        Vent/Overflow:
Run a hose from the top of each bag to the vent thru-hull in the side of the boat.
Tee it into the factory vent with a check valve on the auxiliary bag side.
Split it and run a hose into each bag.
Run vents off the top of each bag, connect them with a tee and run to the factory vent near the driver’s helm.

        Increasing Ballast Pump Time:
In the main menu go to the SETTINGS tab. On the bottom left menu touch SYSTEM.
Toward the bottom left corner touch DEALER SETTINGS. Input the dealer code 9191 and touch SUBMIT.
(If the code does not work please contact your local dealer or customer support at Nautique.) Find the “Quagga Filter” option and change it from N/A to INSTALLED

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

The bag size for the G23 without extending into the rear compartments is:

        https://www.wakemakers.com/wakemaker...llast-bag.html

        50”L x 25”w x 10”H

I can send you the parts list I ordered if you need.

So does setting the quagga option to on make the pumps run harder?

Allows the pumps to run longer in order to fill the extra ballast. Adds run time.

Shameless plug: I have a pair of 1100 bags for sale in the classifieds. That would likely be too much weight for wakeboarding, but are great for surfing. You can always fill them up less for wakeboarding. I've run into some shipping issues that make it pretty expensive to ship out east unless you have a business account. I may have to resort to uncle sam in order to get a decent price on shipping.
