    New 2004 Air 216 Team With ZR6!!!

I know I've been talking a lot of stuff about this boat! Well, here it is! Signed this weekend! Totally loaded! (As far as I know....) All the standard stuff with the Team Package plus the following:
    • PCM Vortec 6.0L MPI (370 hp)
      Automatic Fire Extinguisher
      Battery Safety Switch
      Clarion 6 Disc CD Changer
      Cleats - Pull Out Stern
      Custom Cover
      Custom Paint on Tower (tentative)
      Custom Step Plates
      Dripless Packing Gland
      Flip Up Drivers Seat
      Heater - 3 Speed & Defroster
      Oil Drip Pan

Now I ask one for opinion from everybody... colors colors colors... the hardest decision of them all. I've got two weeks to make this decision then it hits the molds! I was thinking something that was fun, something that makes this boat stand out from all the rest, something that will me matched by any other boat. Frankly, I like the Fusion Green, however blue is still a contendor. We saw a couple boats with the Titanium Gray and Blue at the New York Boat show and it was absolutely bautiful.

Deos anyone know how I can save what I make from CC's color selector so I can post it here without a scanner?

just give the color combos you chose. we all have the internet and can go to the site ourselves...or do a screen capture....or just print them.

i'd stay away from really wild colors as the main stripe or hull.
    I don\'t care.

          Congrats on the purchase.

When you select your colors, press Ctrl + Print Screen (the key to the right of the F12 key to take a screen shot. Then go into MS Paint. From the Pull Down Menu, select Edit, Paste. Your screen shot will be pasted into Paint. You can then save it to jpeg for posting.

          I like these colors:

That green/black combo reminds me of unpleasant things.....I dig the blue gray. One thing I may suggest is a TEAK platform.

Oh, and nice wallpaper, I had that for a while on my machine.

jroyal, I can't believe thats what you sugesst. Its just that the other boats we were considering have those exact same colors! And the interior is the exact same too! Anyway, its that color combo that really turned us on to the gray. I really do think the interor does go well with black and gray. So we try to keep that. The blue and gray is nice, but not as nice. And the green and gray (interior wise) is ok. The only reason i dont think it is hidious is because i saw an orange and gray interior and i thought it looked kinda nice. Anyway, the thing about the black and gray is as we've been told, its not a "fun" color. It looks real sharp and beautiful! but its not necissarily as "fun" as a green or an orange. Do ya see what i mean? That's why we get Nautiques, to have fun on them. And also, think of how many black boats you see on the water compared to how many green and orange boats ya see on the water...like i said, gotta be different.

Not sure if you guys have noticed, but the lettering of "nautique" in the air logo is outlined by the color of the primary stripe. When i saw a boat with a green primary stripe, it looked real nice outlined. So that also makes me wanna have a color primary stripe cuz you just wont get that outline feature with lets say white, gray, or black.

A little cropping wouldn't hurt either. To me, colors aren't "fun". I like the classic colors such as black, red and white. 10 years down the line the boat will still look new.

Like the green with grey/white combo. Don't think green with black is a good combo.
Same question about the teak platform, that is the first option I would get..

                        Here's my pick

I too like the classic colors. Check out this 206 owned by Seth Stisher. If I were buying a new boat, these are the colors I would seriously consider. (I know CC only offers silver cloud fo rhe deck color now--but even with a silver cloud deck, your boat would look cool.)

Click on "comp boats" and go the the 2003 206 limited. The boat is black wiht a silver cloud secndary stripe. Very cool.

I also like the combination of the dark blue (patriot blue?) hull with the titanium main stripe. Here is an example.

Thats where the blue comes in handy, i think it is the perfect "mix" between a "fun" color and a "classic" color. Blue can be both, at the same time too!

I like the all black..........it's extremely sharp looking...........but you're right, it may be a maintenance issue though. I might suggest reversing it though. Kind of like what I have now, except with a updated graphics package. It still would look good with the interior that I recommended.

                            Good luck!

Personally I like all white, with black accent tape and a black tower. I know it sounds boring, but I think it looks really awesome. If I was buying a boat that is what I would go with. I also like all black with that neon looking green secondary stripe and then a black tower.
