YOu really have a wonderful attitude. I commend you.

THere is no doubt the green or orange are risky colors. I was really into the teal/purple combo that CC was pushing in the early 90's. In a funny kind of way, I'm glad I didn't get a boat back then because I can't stand those colors now!

I'm affraid I'm making a mistake with the green, but my little girl ( 8 ) really digs it, so I'm stepping up to the plate to have fun, for how ever long it lasts. If my family grows tired of it, I hope I'll be in a position to upgrade, and do it again!

Isn't that what it is all about though?

Hey, you and your family like the green, and that's all that counts. I don't think you can go wrong with what you like. There is a reason CC picked the green and orange boats for their website and brochures...They look good!!!! Great choice, you'll love it!!

If you ever fly out of DFW to Houston look out the port side of the plane. On top of a high rise you will see two giant patios painted fusion green.

My brother liked the color so much, because it reminded him of summer, he had to paint the patios. At night, it looks like the water in the Caribbean.

Nice!

Thanks for the support. Green it is!

Icap, that's pretty funny. I'd like to see that one day.

abun....when are you suppose to be getting your boat? I ordered my boat Tuesday. I called today and got them to upgrade the engine to the ZR6, which they really tried to talk me out of doing. I'm not sure why. Do you guys know what is being used in the closed cooling system and is the motor box any bigger? Someone was telling me that because of the closed cooling system it would be bigger, which I don't think is correct. Every picture I have seen with the ZR6 looks lke the standard motor box.

The engine box is the same size as far as I am aware. Your dealer should be able to confirm that. I know nothing changes on the vdrives when you put the zr6 in them. It only changes when you put the 8.1 liter in there. I did see that the super charged 6 liter (not offered to the public) had the larger box. What do you mean by what is being used?

Tony M., We ordered our boat the monday after V-Day but the CC factory got the official order a coupel days later. The EDD (estimated due date) of the boat is late April/early May. That still leaves plenty of time, thats about when the real season starts anyway.

I don't know if the engine box for the ZR6 is larger dimension wise, but I know that from the ones i've seen, they do not look large at all. Like ski said, the python was another story. That engine cover would go right up to the pylon, top to bottom, and slant very far backing making very little leg room for the rear bench.

I'm not surprised that your dealer tried to convine you out of the ZR6, NECC tried to do the same with us. Personally, I think the dealers just wanna work with what they're used to and know the most about. Tony, where did you get it from?

We are buying from White Lake Marine Graham, NC. Great people to work with and they have been in business for 49 years. I bought my last ski from them and they have always given me good service.

ski... I was just wondering what coolant was being used. I saw one picture and it looked like the environmentally safe rv antifreeze.

Ken and Shannon are great! They're the only people I allow to work on my boat. I drive for four hours just to get to their location, but it is worth it. Great service is hard to find these days.

Looks like DexCool is the recommended fluid for the closed cooling system.

We gotta problem guys...

We need to get our color combo in soon! That means our deadline is Monday! It looks like we won't be able to check out colors at the factory or even at our dealer... And one more thing just in case that didn't make a big enough problem, the "scheduled" date it should arrive has just been postboned (spell check anyone??) a month! Looks like end of May.

So if you've been wating to the last min to post your combo... please post them now! For those who've been longing to find out our color combo, looks like your not gonna have to wait as long as I thought...

Questions we are still thinking about:

Do we want a colored tower?
Which main color, Green, Blue, or Yellow?

We are sure that:

The hull will be black
The accent piping will be silver cloud
The secondary stripe will be white or gray, defenately white if yellow primary...

And thats as far as we are now....
I Nautique, therefore I am.

Pick the main color and go. The tower is done at your dealer and you can decide that while the boat is being made. You just have to specify whether you want the tower silver or naked. It is about the same price for either or so you could just order it naked and paint it silver if that is what you decide on.
