Those big bases should be dropped into the gunnels allowing for a simple, clean, unobtrusive tower above the gunnel. A hinge at the top of the gunnel would make folding easy or perhaps it could be lifted out of sleeves.

It is supposed to be quite different. I was told it was a major change and is supposed surf a lot better. I am guessing it is kept pretty quiet so they can sell the 2019 g's

I would love to see faster pumps offered in the new boats. My 2017 230 takes about 9 - 10 minutes to fill the factory hard tanks as well as my 650's in the rear lockers. It'd be great to see that time frame cut in half!

I use to have the same opinion. But after putting 60 hours on my 2019. I now think the tower base looks great, to the point that the tower on my 2018 now looks like a toy! I guess it's all about perspective.

            Here is my 2020 wishlist:

            1. Twin-turbo, efficient diesel engine.
            2. 1.5" Splined prop shaft.
            3. 1200lbs additional sub-floor ballast with fore/aft ballast shift.
            3. Higher freeboard stay dry bow.
            4. Remote stereo control flip up cover. (To prevent accidental rope hits).
            5. Surf platform with anti-skid but no seadeck. It gets too dirty and is very difficult to clean.
            6. Option to purchase left or right prop rotation. To select the stronger surf side.
            7. Straight ahead autosteer or steering hold. Helps novice drivers maintain a steady heading while pulling surfers or boarders.
            8. Height adjustable driver seat.
            9.Third heater blower hose.

I think for the G line it will have hull changes next. Boats are getting bigger so maybe a new hull with G22, G24, and G26 to signify a new hull design?
                More ballast
With all the Wizards on the dash I think dual touch screens
Would like stereo head unit to do HD radio channels
                Cool touch vinyl
                New Gelcoat graphics
Maybe a new unique way to take on ballast other than pumps?
Nautique doesn't need it as much as other brands but how about a forward facing camera? Would love to be able to make entire touch screen show what is in front of boat while driving. Everyone could sit up front and I would not care if they blocked my view a little.
I am tired of hauling ice. I want a super fast ice maker in boat as an option.
                More board racks
Some kind of a board holder/divider in locker that holds boards on side and spaces them apart so they are not banging together.

Malibu is rumored to add a factory window tint option? That would be a great addition for Nautique. I have yet to see a good tint job on any boat with curved glass.

I think the factory tint is a great idea, and definitely the cool touch vinyl, seems like that should have been in Nautiques by now.

I know I’ll get heat on this but besides the “clout factor” what is the purpose of tinting windows? I struggle as it is to see through them already. Maybe I am just old like my kids say all the time.

I guess I'm old too cause I never understood window tinting on boats. I suppose it looks cool. But I get the same view by putting on a pair of Sunglasses

Haha I agree...if there’s sun in my eyes that’s what sunglasses are for. Besides, for the markup that Nautique would throw on that tint option I’m betting I could probably buy a whole case of Oakley’s!
