It's the new Nautique S24. A pure surf boat, 24ft, 500hp twin turbo diesel. 5000lb of fast fill ballast, forward and aft ballast shift. Higher freeboard and bow to prevent bow dipping. Steering hold to drive a perfect course line.( Move the steering wheel to disengage.) Bow thruster, Right hand rotation prop option, six tower speakers, with voice intercom to speak to surfer, more seadeck colors, front access engine service items like impeller and filters, I'm too old for the Cirque du Soleil!

    What else am I missing?

Windows in the side of the hull to see the ballasts with water in them. Like a cruise ship port hole window.....LOL

Hmmm...with the frequency at which you buy boats and running in the competitive surf crowd, I’m left wondering how much of your post is daydreaming versus hints at what you may actually know.

Total wishful thinking on my part. I will say that at several of the larger surf competitions last year, Nautique dealers repeatedly hinted at big changes coming for the G in 2020. But I consider the most recent disclosures (rear facing seats, gold badging, etc) modest changes and leave me wanting more.

At the Desert Plunge in Arizona many competitive surfers, myself included were very impressed with the MasterCraft X24. The larger hull and greater ballast put out an impressive stock surf wave. One dedicated G owner actually just made the switch to MasterCraft. In my opinion it's time for Nautique to step up its game. They build the best boat, but surfing is becoming a very popular sport and the G hull needs an update to remain the dominate surf boat it should be.

New surf orientated boat inbound for 2020. Named after a previous nautique model from the early 90's is what I have heard. Won't kill the G line though. Start guessing.

Will we see a new boat sometime in calendar year 2020? Your guess is as good as mine.

Will we see a new boat for the impending 2020 model year - pretty doubtful. Dealers would have had to have been notified, educated and orders in at this point - which means they would also need buyers starting to be lined up as well - so info would be out there.

I mean boat to be announced this year 2019. I think they will probably do a limited run as a 2020 model to get a few boats out before the seasons over would be my guess. Similar to how the M235 came out. We will see something soon though. Some dealers have the info.

I will bet you a burrito that we do not see an all new wakeboat announced alongside the other 2020 models or any time soon after, sometime between now and mid-August.

I bet Nohlan meant that we would see a few out before the model year is over, not the season's over. IIRC, Malibu pumped out a few M235 in the late winter as the first run, not when the model year started.

He said announced in 2019. I will double down and say no official public announcement of a new model wakeboat in 2019. It's win/win for me. If I'm right I get a burrito, if I'm wrong we get a sweet new boat. I have no info, I just like burritos and boats.

I am trying to download the build sheet, but it doesn't seem to work. Anyway I can get it? my local dealer says they don't have it yet. Anyone have pics? the listing on only inboards has been removed

Your local dealer has it. 2020 info is up on their dealer website including build sheets/pictures but a smart dealer isn't going to give it to you because things end up on platforms like this.

what a terrible thought it might end up here. That would be very bad for business.

The innovations for 2020 are not so special. Main thing; you can make a big deal out of it.

I predict that no matter what happens, somewhere in the marketing literature the phrase “"game changer””" will be used.
