Anyone use Wakemakers Plug n Play in A GS20?

Interested in your impressions on the Wakemakers Plug N Play ballast.

Heard that initially it didn’t work too well in terms of integration of Fill/Drain and LINK Panoray.

    Thx in advance.

I’m interested in hearing impressions as well.

I ordered all the fittings to build my own piggy back system this winter.

I do know that the current system Wakemakers is selling for the GS20 fills the stock ballast and piggyback sacks at the same time rather than the old way of using the stock ballast over flow to fill the piggyback sacks.

I would’ve just ordered the piggyback kit from Wakemakers rather than make it myself, but they wouldn’t sell just the hoses/fittings pre-assembled. The only way to get the hose kit is to buy the whole kit including the sacks. I didn’t want to spend $500 on the whole kit since I already have sacks and all hoses I need.

You can’t just add weight to the rear on this boat and call it good like on everything else. You will need almost equally distributed weight front to back

I typically run the belly at 40-60% with the stock rear ballast full. When I add sacs to the rear, I bump up the belly. Interest in the Wakemakers kit is I don’t have to mess with the fatsacs.

You ought to give the “lead” bags a try ... I love them, after selling my 20 I’m putting them in my 22

We plumbed the kit in, was relatively easy to do but the 650 bags add too much weight to the rear. We run standard motor and prop so are going to try a different prop. I find it surfs best with all factory full and about 200pounds in each locker. Nss0 ncrs 3-4 17.2kph. This is with two adults and one surfer, I’m about 220-230 pounds.

I ended up with acmes 1617 recommendation for my weight and use..... 700# over stock and 6 people in the boat..... it did much better than the stock 1235. I would contact them, they are great to work with.

Your GS20 came stock with an Acme 1235? Mine came with an Acme 645 (13.25x16). I have a spare 1579 (13.5x14.25) that I'm going to switch to this spring.
