My standard in-boat gear weighs @ 350-380 lbs. and this is without any shot ballast. I was shocked when weighing each item. Cooler full of water bottles before ice weighs almost 60-lbs.

Weighed my boat this weekend. 2012 210 with about 300lbs of lead, full tank of gas, and all my gear I usually haul. Right at 6000 lbs.

You are smart to weigh it. Is it close to what you thought it would be, or a surprise?

I figured right sound 6k. Mine is listed at 3800 dry + 1200 trailer is 5000. 40 gallons of gas is roughly 250. 300 lbs of lead. Plus another 500 of random gear/ wiggle room. Right at 6000.

Talking to the wife more, I'm trying to convince her when we start shopping to get a full size SUV. It will be easier to find a standard Tahoe (type) then a high end Cherokee with the v8. And probably the same price or cheaper. Plus another 1000 to 1500 of tow capacity, and more vehicle weight.

Warrior, please elaborate. The Pathfinder is the vehicle my wife has her eyes on
