Any one replaced some of their interior pieces with C&S in the 03 to 05 era boats? Just got some pieces and their craftsmanship looks top notch, I’'m just not happy with how they match my old skins mainly the piping. I know vinyl fades over the years but I was hoping for it to be a little

Are you trying to replace some skins and not all of them?

Yes observer seat rear seat and both trunk lids. I realize they are not going to match perfectly because of sun, but boats interior is **** near perfect. I’m very particular is the only reason theses pieces are getting replaced.

That's really never going to match closely. You're dealing with a 14 year old boat. There most definitely has been sun fading and even if there wasn't, dye lots will often be a different shade. It probably won't be noticeable on new skins that aren't right beside an old one, but if they meet at a corner or something you'll have a shade difference. This isn't a quality issue with C&S.

I tried to replace some of the skins in my old 99 Air and it became very obvious that it just wasn't going to work. There was always going to be some place where new met old and the shading was off. I ended up replacing all of them. And the carpet while I was at it.

Just got off the phone with Sandra at C&S, they are redoing my entire order because the piping is wrong. Gotta say there customer service is top notch and quality looks amazing. Definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for oem skins!

Got my interior today from C&S! Everything looks great! Dropping it off at the upholster on Monday. He is a month out so updated pics are going to be awhile

So what was the problem with the initial piping? It is not obvious with from the pics.

When I did skins through Christine's they sent samples of each color so I cod confirm the best match to what I had.

They sent me samples as well. When they made the order whoever sewed it together for some reason used a color that had no association with my Oder what so ever. 99% of people would have never noticed the piping was wrong but I’m anal. Sandra and C&S was great to deal with and re made the entire order!
