    Fine tuning 2019 GS22

Thought I’d start this thread to generate thoughts, ideas, and opinions on weighting my new gs22. Has anyone added additional weight above the pro ballast option? I’ve got 700# of pop bags to distribute this summer. Worked great on my previous gs20 after some playing around. Also here are some pics of the new boat, feel free to comment

Sharp looking boat and trailer, That interior is electrifying and bold. I can’t help with weight placement though, I haven’t ridden a GS yet but had to comment on the boat. Maybe start with it placed throughout boat spread out evenly?

I had 800lbs. in the rear lockers, we only had a driver and a spotter on the boat most of the time, so we put an extra 400lb. bag in the cockpit all the way back towards the transom and notice it helped even more. In my opinion this boat loves weight in the back. After a year of that 400lb sac in the back though, i just replaced it with lead bags, much easier to manage

Great, thx for the advice. I’ll put my 700 in lead mid-aft and see what happens

Great looking boat. I love red and black as you can tell from my avatar. The red interior is sick!

              Sharp boat!

I'll be interested in how you think the wboard wake is. If I ever upgrade from a 210 I would consider a GS22. The added room looks awesome and the ncrs is a great plus for diving.

I would love a G21 but since I trailer all the time I doubt it's a great pick.

The wakeboard wake on my gs20 was massive with the extra 700 I had in it. I’m hoping the gs22 will have the same result
