    Gs20 ski setup

We have had our gs20 for 40 hours now, absolutely love the boat. Has anyone got what they think is the ideal ski set up? We are 100% recreational lake skiers, i normally ski at 15 off 53kph (approx 33mph). We try to always be under half full in gas and minimal people in the boat.

Skiing the slalom course gets harder with a shorter rope. There is a standard length of 75ft and then you shorten from this. The person who gets the most buoys with the shortest rope wins.

      So 15off is 60ft.

It's a little more complicated but that's basically it.

I don’t know your skill level for recreation skiing but if your shorten the rope to 32 feet off, you won’t get nearly the slack in the line when you make your cuts. Prior to giving up skiing completely , I used to Free Ski with a group of guys on a James River on a weekly basis and we always skied at 32 off (from a 75 ft line) and about 33-34 mph
