    Upholstery Issue

I have a G23 that was delivered to me in late July 2018. Boat now only has 35 hours on it and we sued it last Weekend
for two days in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Air temperature was mid 70's water temperature mid 60's. That is the set up, pulled
the boat out Sunday put in garage to clean and noticed the upholstery which main color is white had discoloration in some areas.
The color was blueish and nobody on the boat had blue trunks. What could have caused this and how do I get it clean. We tried
Hot Sauce upholstery cleaner, soap and water but nothing cleaned it.

    Any Suggestions?

Thank you very much for this excellent information, mine are more of a dark blue color, but could be the same form of bacteria.

Depending on what its from...like if its from a new towel that was on boat that had not been previously washed, etc... the sun may "bleach" out the color after a few days. I have had a couple events like this where I cant figure out where some stain came from, so far I have been able to remove them all tho except one small one which looks suspiciously like ink pen!
Anyway. I could be wrong but I have only heard of that particular bacteria coming thru as a pinkish color. It still happens occasionally, but is a lot rarer these days on the newer boats. I have seen it in person a couple times and you can tell its not a stain.
Guessing your stain was likely from something on the boat which may fade with some good sun exposure (pics would be helpful), but there are some harsher cleaners you can use that are much better at harder stains like this that you could try: Malco's....or my favorite cause easy to get/cheap is "LA Awesome" from the dollar store. Any of these cleaners tho....after you scrub with the cleaner (I let soak for about 30secs), you want to clean off those areas thoroughly with clean water and then follow up with a good conditioner like 303 or the others like it since the harsher cleaners will dry out your vinyl, so use with caution.
