    Got It!

The 97 Nautiqe checked out perfectly in the Marine Survey. Asking price was $18500, and I got for $17500!! I am 60 years old, this is my 4th boat (first Nautique), I ski year round here in Nor Cal, and I am as happy as a 10 year old at Christmas!! Thanks again to all of you who responded to my post. By the way, great looking boats JDARWIN and ADRIAN!!

            Lake Clementine

Folsom and Lake Clementine....both are a short drive from my home in Newcastle. Both are crowded on summer weekends, but great on weekdays and in the winter, especially Clementine. I skied the delta in the 60's when I went to college at UOP. The 70's found me in South Sacramento and on the Sac River from Freeport to Walnut Grove and Steamboat Slough.

              1997 SN

Very nice - even the interior accent cord is identical to mine - you have good taste

BTW, I'm not certain that the 1997 has a grease fitting on the rudder. The EPA outlawed the fittings prior to 1996 I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Congrats on the boat. I'm a BIG fan of the 1997 SN - best ever, I believe. Have fun!

                RE: 1997 SN

That's interesting. My 2005 has a zerk fitting on the rudder. Is that what you're referring to jdarwin?

Love the color combo too, timeless. I wish my seats had gray on the bottom half instead of white. Good looking trailer.

My 95 didnt have a zerk, i believe they are intended to be water lubricated. I added the zerk and a fitting to the outside stern below the platform, made steering a breeze again.
