Today was my first time playing with the G21 after getting the boat back in October and waiting for spring to arrive. When I use the Nautique supplied "Wake Skate" profile, and have the boat up to speed, the NCRS plate seems to cycle from 5 for about 10 seconds, back to 0 for about 10 seconds. It continues to do this the entire time even though boat is going in a straight line without turning and smooth water. I can see the little plate icon go down followed by up and then back down. So after about 30 seconds the boat does a complete cycle from bow down to bow up and keeps doing this. Its kind of annoying. The other presets for Wake Pro, Wake Novice and my own custom profile do not seem to do this. Is there a setting that I am missing to keep this constant NCRS from cycling under the Wake Skate profile?

What speed are you running? This doesn't sound normal, but if you're running at a speed that is right at the plane off point, I can see it doing that to try to keep the boat planed off.
I have owned a G23 since 2013, and honestly I don't think I have ever used the wake skate profile, but I can't imagine it is supposed to do what you're describing.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. Going from memory I think the factory skate profile has speed set at 22.0. I will probably be out on Sunday and will try changing a couple setting in that profile.

Made it out today and played with the skate setting again. Did the same exact thing as the other day. So I changed the speed up by .1 mph and saved that into the profile. Problem was then completely gone. So then I went back to the 22.0 setting and saved it back to the default values and it did not have the issues cycling NCRS. So think it's okay now. Will try it out again next time out.
