Blower hose wrapped around driveshaft

working on a 95 gt40, at the end of last summer I sucked up the blower hose into the driveshaft. After that it started to leak out of the back of the trans. I picked up the seal # 047191
got the flange nut off with a impact but still trying to get to the seal. Will the flange come off with a hammer or is there something else holding it on?
