G23 Warranty - Electronics Only 3 Years?

I could probably read the warranty, but I am sure someone here knows the answer.

We have always had issues with the Polk system in our '16 G23 - constant ghost source switching (every 30 seconds), random shutdowns, inability to use the stereo for a day if battery switch is shut off and turned back on, etc. Details here: https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...-system-issues

Anyway, we are nearing our 3 year mark on the boat, and I am hearing that the electronics are only covered for 3 years. If this is the case, we may go ahead and open and warranty claim to see if we can get something done, as it seems to be getting worse.

I don't see anything about electronics only being covered for three years, as long as your boat is not a Coastal Edition. If it is a Coastal Edition, the entire warranty is only three years. Here's the 2016 standard warranty info.

Jeff where did you find that the Coastal Editions only have a 3 year warranty? I just looked at my G23 2017 owners manual and it states I have a 5 year or 500 hours warranty which ever comes first but nothing stating that the Coastal only has a 3 year warranty. I have a Coastal Edition which has never seen salt water is the reason I want to confirm since I'm approaching the 3 year mark after this season.

Page W-5 of the 2016 manual lists a different warranty for Coastal Edition boats. This may have changed in 2017.

Thanks yeah, that warranty language was removed in the 2017 manual. Hoping my warranty on my G23 Coastal is the same as the other 2017 Nautiques at 500 hours/5 years.

I think this was fake news. My guess is it was an older boat or a CE.

My 2012 SANTE 230 only had 3 years covered on the electronics when I bought it new. I know because I barely got a computer replacement in month 36. I was told I was lucky. I'm not sure on my 2017 G23. I'll see if I can dig up my papers.

I’m less concerned about 3 or 5yrs, more concerned about getting any service or warranty on a brand new boat out of territory.
