    Mission Delta Sentry fenders?

I recently purchased my new to me and first Nautique 16’ G23, I went out picked up a handful of the Taylor Made fenders and just ordered their neoprene covers last night to protect the gel coat from rubbing when tied up. This morning I came across the Sentry fenders, look like a great and easy concept but wondering if anyone has any experience with these especially on a G? Some reviews I’ve read say they are better for lower freeboard. Also appealing as they look to take up less room and easier for my wife to hook up.

I have them on my 230 and think they are great. You can fit 4 in the space of one big black bumper. The way the conform to the boat gives it great protection. I just recently purchased them and multiple people at my marina have ordered them after looking at mine and how well they work.

Not good for a G, however, they do work well on boats with lower sides.

Also suck if you have a low profile dock.

I still think for a G the TaylorMade Big B center hole fenders work great. 8 inch x 20 inch . After purchase, I covered when with the felt wraps and fender hangers. Very please with the results after I researched extensively with fender types/styles.

I have the same ones. Although they take up too much room in my boat, so I am now looking at 6”. LOL!

Just an update, i originally bought the TM BIG B 8” and was going to buy the neoprene covers but instead I did end up buying 4 of the Sentrys. I used them last weekend for the first time, both at a restaurant dock (that gets a choppy) and while tied up to another boat. They worked great! Easy to hang from the tower and easy for my wife to throw on. I just ordered 2 more and will be getting rid of the TMs. I’ll try to remember to post a pic this weekend with them on

I visit different lakes with different dock heights. Ideally, a 6.5" x 25" would be the ticket for me. Now that I have a white hull, I may go back to white fenders anyway. First World Problems...
