Our new GS22 being water tested and a walkthrough by the dealer

Dealer asked if she could do a walk through video during the dealer water demo. Here is the finished product. We are beyond stoked to get on the water.

Thanks it was a bit of a risk I felt. Haha It also has blue stitching. Were the speaker covers an option?

Did you get the ballast upgrade? Just wondering if the wave as shown is with or without the pro ballast. Congrats on the new boat, this thing handles like a sports car!

That was with the 350 pro ballast and 1 tiny person in the boat. We are going to look at adding the wakemakers bags and take the 350s out. There are a couple YouTube vids showing the wave with the wakemakers custom 800s.

                nice.
can't wait to get mine on the water. It keeps snowing here
I can tell you, the stock pro ballast and the extra sub floor ballast weight produces a significantly bigger wave than the the GS20 will stock ballast.
You may not need the wakemakers bags. However, you got the motor to pull it though!!

                  What’s wrong with the H6?

He means we have similar options other than the H6. There is nothing wrong with the H6. It’s a beast

Haha, nothing is wrong as Idahosan said. I am jealous. Everyone said there was no need for us to get it in Michigan so I saved the money. I hope I don't regret it.

Had a chance to take our gs22 out for the first time and WOW the H6 is a beast. We filled all ballast w/ the pro ballast 350s, had 3 people in the boat and surfed at 11.2 mph. We hit 11.2 mph in less than 5 seconds and the h6 was turning 3100 rpm, 2900 rpm at 10.8mph. This is at 2800' ele with the 1235 prop. Top speed was 39.5 mph at 5500 rpm. I can't wait to get up to our cabin and try 5000' ele.

I am beyond happy with this boat. Absolutely ZERO bow rise and can easily see the lake while driving with the bolster down and ballast filled for surfing. I was a little concerned the touch screen would be difficult to get used to but boy was I wrong. In fact, I hardly even touched the screen. The knob and hot buttons are so easy to use that once we were set up for ballast I literally use two buttons, the music and speed. A quick turn of the knob and bam. The rearview camera is a sweet add as well. My wife thought it would be gimmicky but it's pretty sweet being able to see my riders get in the water and keep the screen up while they are surfing. Super easy keeping eyes forward and glancing at the screen for temps and quick look at my rider.

Best find of the day though - the ballast seacocks have servos that open and close them for filling and draining. I had heard the G boats had this but didn't realize the gs series has it as well. To me that shows a lot of thought on Nautique's part. Sure it is something that can go bad but no more nuisance filling and draining while under way. This was always a problem with our Bu and Axis.

We can't wait to get out and put some more hours on the new boat.

The valves on the thru hulls that supply the reversible pumps. They are a safety feature that you can close to keep lake/sea water from entering the boat (ie a broken line). They also keep nuisance draining or filling from taking place. Not such an issue with the reversible pumps that Nautique uses but is a nice touch and thoughtful. Just 1 more reason Nautique is the best built boat I’ve ever owned.

                              congrats on the new boat.
