    2018 Wakesurf setting for a 210

Looking for someone who has a newer 210 that could give me some settings for producing a solid wakesurf wave. Have some trouble dialing my in.

Should be very simple. To get a nice wave, if you have pro ballast, just hit the stock wake surf programmed setting and go. That should set it at 10.5 mph with NSS at 0 and hydrogate at 2. to get a nicer wave, pull the 400 pound pro ballast sacs and replace with 750 sacs and put 500 pounds of lead weight sprinkled around the bow and midship with about 150 pound bias to the surf side of preference. We run this setup at about 10.8 mph with NSS at 0 and hydrogate at 0.

Do you have any pictures at what the wave should look like w/750 and added weight? Trying to figure out if it’s worth the extra money.

I do, but keep in mind it is real hard to get a feel from photos. What I can tell you is the wave is just flat out firmer and stronger.

I have the same boat and run the following with a 3-4 people onboard. Haven't loaded it down with a large group yet.

          Prop 1579 13.5x14.25 w/ .105
          10.4 mph
          Rear hard tanks full
WakeMakers 600lb custom fit sacks full. Fills entire space so trays don't fit.
          Belly is full
          Gas tank full
LeadWake 300lbs under the front nose seat. Have someone sit on the seat if rider is surf style.
          NSS at 3-4
          Hydro gate 2-4
If possible a very slight turn to the surf wave side

Around 2400lbs and puts the platform about 2 inches underwater
Have a few lakes in the area, if depth is 15 feet or less, wave is good; over 15 feet is better.

Looking to get a 500-750 manual fill bag to put on the floor if only girlfriend and I to produce a better wave. Tested with friends bag and makes a big enough difference. Increased speed to 10.5(6).

I'm still playing with setup... but this should give you a starting point.

I'll see if I can grab a few screen shots from video later today.

Our 750 sacs fill completely in the rear hatches, easily, with room to spare for life vests on top. We are right at 3000 pounds without people weight. Having NSS at 3-4 means you have it barely engaged, haves you tried at 0?

I have tried zero, and it makes the wave shorter than I desire. I pushed it 3, then slowed down to the 10.4.
I'll take a picture of the bag and surf tomorrow when out.

Interesting. Ours as is anything but short, as you can see in the photos. Maybe it’s the extra 500 pounds we have in ours.

That is exactly what I am looking for, my current wave just doesn’t have a ton push. I think I need to add a lot more weight. I really appreciate the advice. Also, no sure if it’s my prop or something going on my new boat, but what should top speed be with two people on the boat? I never boat this boat as a speed boat but I find it hard that 40 is the top end speed for the hull design and the 409 engine. Thoughts?

Do you have the measurements for your custom fit rear WakeMAKERS bags?

Sorry for taking so long to reply. cedarcreek216 is correct as the setting for NSS and Hydro i listed above are wrong.

                          NSS at 0
                          Hydro at 5

I was pulling from my notes.... Here is a pic of the WakeMakers bags. If i wanted to keep the tray, I wouldn't be able to fill them 100%.

This image has me very curios. Our 750’s have much more room on top of them than your 600’s do. The wakemakers website says the 750’s are only 20” y’all so makes sense there is room on top as the lockers are far deeper than 20”. I will try to remember to get photos this weekend with them full. I do know ours seem to be much longer than yours appear, but just feels strange. I took the pro ballast 400 pound sacs out and know these are much larger, but just odd to me.

Great info. I am always looking for tweeks to our set up to help the wave push. I think the biggest issue we have is that our lake is not 15' deep. I would say most of the area we surf is 10'-14' so we are limited as to how big a wave we can get behind our boat.
